The 360° sound is legit—no matter where people are standing around it, the music sounds clear and full. Bass is strong and punchy, even on lower volumes, which surprised me for a speaker this size. I played everything from acoustic to hip-hop to classic rock, and it handled all genres really well. Bluetooth connection has been rock solid. Pairing was quick, and once connected, I’ve had no dropouts—even when I walk away with my phone or leave it in another room. The range is impressive; I’ve gone well over 30 feet outdoors and the connection stayed strong. I’ve used both an iPhone and a Samsung tablet with it, and switching between them is seamless. I bought the Monster speaker for outdoor use, and it has exceeded my expectations. The sound is loud, clear, and well-balanced, with surprisingly strong bass for its size. The speaker feels very premium and is a bit larger than I expected. It’s practical and easy to use. The sound quality is excellent—perfect for watching shows. The battery lasts a long time; after just one charge, I could watch shows for a whole week and it still had power left. Definitely worth praising. If it’s not used for about ten minutes, it will automatically disconnect and power off.

I feel bamboozled by the marketing and reviews for these. I picked them up as an experiment to compare with my Soundcore Motion 300 speakers, considering the possibility that they could be an upgrade to those. I know Monster as a reputable brand and they hooked me with all the impressive-sounding features and engineering talk. It also appeared they were on mega sale for $50, down from $170. So seemed like a no-brainer and I bought 2 for TWS pairing. Ultimately, I ended up disappointed. These are alright for $50, but not the best I've tried in that price range and definitely not $170 quality. They're just ok for inexpensive speakers of this size, and they do feel inexpensive. I was immediately suspicious when I felt how light-weight they are. Optimal quality speakers and transformers simply aren't going to be this light-weight. They can get moderately loud but not any louder than the Motion 300, which is rated at 30 watts. So the 40-watt power rating is mostly a marketing gimmick. Tone-wise, the bass is very lacking, the mids are a bit boxy, and the highs are a bit harsh. Just all-around unsatisfying and with no functionally to adjust to taste (unlike the Motion 300). The "360 sound" effect is next to unnoticeable, again, seeming like a marketing gimmick and unlike the Motion 300 which actually kinda pulls it off. The advertised battery life sounds impressive, and maybe that's a big selling point for some people, but I didn't want to listen to them long enough to test it. And a final nitpicky pet peeve is that I don't like bluetooth devices needlessly talking to me and this one talks to you whenever you do anything - power it on, connect, disconnect, power off - talk, talk, talk. That's a lot of complaints and I feel like I'm being generous by still giving it 3 stars, but I'm rating it based on how much I paid. They must be pulling a fast one on us by displaying a "typical price" of $170 with a whopping 71% discount, because there's no way these are $170 speakers. I own a couple different models from Soundcore and they've never failed to impress me, so I think I'll be sticking with them from now on.

OMG. It has AUX in. I've been looking for years for a Bluetooth speaker with AUX in. I use a portable projector when I travel. The portable ones usually have mediocre speakers at best. While they often support Bluetooth protocol, most of my Bluetooth speakers can only be paired with one device (usually my phone). I don't want to deal with the back and forth of pairing and unpairing devices. I want a speaker with an aux in so I can have it paired to my phone, and plug it into my projector when I travel. Most Bluetooth speakers of any good sound quality abandoned AUX in years ago. Kudos to Monster for including it here. The sound is good for a speaker in this price point.

Very disappointed. I bought this speaker due to the favorable reviews and the big price markdown from $170.00 to $50.00 because my JBL Charge 5 finally gave out. This is a $30.00 speaker at best as the sound quality is just ok and the bass is nonexistent. The favorable reviews must have come from those who’ve never owned JBL or Bose. Not sure if this speaker will go back to the insane $170.00 mark, but do yourself a favor and buy the JBL. There is no comparison in sound quality and you certainly get what you pay for.

The S320 is underwhelmingly disappointing. The speaker 🔊 has a solid bass but it seems restricted or limited. It has a type C charger like most modern speakers with the 2mm audio jack. A 40watt speaker sounding like an 18watt speaker. The WonderBoom 4 has outdoor boost which blast the Monster S320 in sound & bass. 🤷🏽♂️And I think that is an 24watt speaker 🤯. The only lighting is the power button which emits blue, that's fine. I use this on my rides, hard to hear it with all the outdoor noise. Inside it sounds solid. It does allow multiconnect when connecting to a monitor 🤔 but it shuts off fast and says Goodbye if not connected soon. For a 40 watt speaker, I have no idea if they used lower quality tweeters and/or materials. I have not seem a 40watt perform so poor. Sure the random/generic speakers such as Max Power, etc. cannot match its build quality yet any other brands such as Sony, JBL, even the WonderBoom just seem top notch quality compared to this. Cast your votes 🗳, I'm no sound acoustic guy but definitely still have ears to hear the difference 😉. I Updated this review, to reflect the distinction and lowered the rating. 🤷🏽♂️
