When the charging port stopped working on the older one, I wanted to purchase this type again, however it is very disappointing in its performance. I got the Monster SuperStar S310 speaker and really like it. It is easy to connect to my phone, and the sound is clear and loud enough for small events or camping. The size is perfect, small enough to carry around but still powerful. Great speaker for both indoor and outdoor use!

Not very loud. Go buy a cheap China knock off and it'll outperform these speakers. I have it on my eBike and can barely hear my music over the wind. Swapped with a cheapo China no name brand and I can easily hear everything.
