If your child loves Monster Jam and remote-control trucks this is the perfect toy for them! We ordered the item, and it was delivered within 2 days with Prime shipping. The packaging was perfect upon arrival, we did not notice any visible damage. Now once we opened the amazon box, we were taken back by how massive this RC truck is! This truck lived up to the MEGA size listed on the packaging and description. Our boys were instantly amazed and thrilled to crack it open. Not only the size the detail on the truck was spot on with the real thing. This truck made our 1:64 trucks look like the Mini Monster Jam trucks. Fresh out the box the vehicle comes with a partial charge to the battery, to charge the battery you must use a USB charger block which is not provided, but commonly available in most household with smart devices. The control does require 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. The control is very simple to use and perfectly sized for the little hands that will be utilizing this truck the most. The truck for its size is super lightweight and the plastic body has been very durable. After multiple crashes the body is still intact with no cracks, the foam tires are holding up very well after being used in multiple terrains. Performance wise, we can say don’t expect a $100 RC to perform like a $400 RC. If you’re looking for something fun that your kids will enjoy, this truck is for you. It is not gas powered fast, but it is fast enough for the kiddos. Whether your kids use it to chase their sibling around, jump over smaller trucks, or jump over ramps they will love it! Our boys have been enjoying this truck thoroughly and have tested all it limits. Our only concern with this RC is the battery life, it varies vastly sometimes only lasting 30 mins after a night long charge and other times going a full hour to hour and a half with a nights charge. The USB cord to charge the truck could also be a little longer? If you have an outlet the is clear of any obstacles you will have no problem charging the truck. This is much larger than I thought but really cool looking. Grandson (6 yrs) loved it and even ran it in the house because he was so excited to try it. I think you could have more fun with it outside because you would have more room. I cannot attest to durability because it is new but it appears sturdy. Once it warms up here and he can get it outside, I will update this review to include accurate info. Remote worked well but again this was running it in a small space of a living room. I am satisfied with the purchase and am sure my grandson will continue to have fun with it. ... show more

This toy is mad cool. All the kids on the block want a turn from my son. The thing has foam wheels which means light base, and high center of gravity. Expect cool skids at the cost of poor control. Haven't tried water yet, but looking forward to it. The rubber strips around the tires help, but I do wonder how it would perform if you put rubber wheels on it. I was a little leery at the price and looks can sometimes be deceiving when looking at an image online, but they were not kidding with MEGA. This almost looks like a ride on toy. My kiddo loves it! It’s big enough to drive over a couple bricks that I put in the driveway. Great product.
