  • Missing parts
Removed first old shock. Opened factory sealed box to install new shock, only to find out one of the rubber cushion, and the nut missing. had to use old parts to complete the first. All parts in second factory sealed box.

  • Good stock replacement.
Good stock replacement, better quality then the "low end" offering Monroe has, nice mid-grade. I bought the Monroe OESpectrum to replace the stock Billsteins on my 2005 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4 1500. Installation was pretty straightforward for replacing front shocks. I did however reuse the stock rubber bumpers as I felt the ones that came with the new shocks didn't have the same structural integrity as the stock ones, which were sleeved and in still good shape. The replacement bumpers probably would have worked fine but the stock ones were a bit lower profile and allowed more thread on the top and again the sleeve fit in the hole to hold the bumpers in a central location. • Bouncy truck is no more.
I like the product, no more bouncing in the front end of my truck and was on a budget, so good bang for your buck I would say.

  • These shocks seem fine
The old shocks I had on the front of my truck I KNEW needed to be replaced. I purchased these monroe sensa-tracks as they were affordable. After a year of usage I'm not entirely sure there is a significant difference in performance so I cant say they are great. The rears I just switched out recently and I noticed a huge difference immediately. I'm sure the fronts are doing a good enough job and I'm not unhappy with them I just think I should have researched a little more before and maybe a different shock would suited me better. I use the truck for construction... ... show more
