Very nice optic! Mounted on Prodigy DS 4.25”. Crystal clear glass and sharp dot. Very easy to install and Amazon pricing is amazing. Local gun shop wanted $385 and I picked it up here for $305!!! I love Eotech and have used them since I was in the Army. They just build tough as nails optics. If you drop it, just dust it off and keep rolling. This is some clear glass. Quality looks and feels good as with all Eotech products. Red dot is sharp and crisp. Just mounted if so I’m confident it will be just fine as an EDC red dot.

Just received this, the sticker on the box to keep it sealed was torn, the battery was already installed and the reddot wouldn't turn on. Looked like it hadn't been installed on anything yet at least i thought. Then I swapped the installed cr2032 to a fresh one, still won't turn on. COMPLETELY dead on arrival. I do not recommend. Clear. Easy to replace battery. Bright enough in direct sunlight. Negatives are durability due to window shape, no auto brightness and some mounting plates (CORE OEM) put optic little high for my preference. This is due to DPP footprint. Can use aftermarket plate if desired for lower co-witness. Have two on range guns with several thousand rounds and very happy with them at this price point. No issues with optic drift. ... show more

The unit itself looks well made, the dot looks clear but that’s all I can say about it. After shifting the glass around you can see a horrendous amount of parallax.
