Features

  • Stage Right has ensured that SRD speakers are both useful and intuitive. Featuring five different DSP presets controlled by a single knob, SRD speakers cover a huge range of applications and types of audio.
  • With up to 1400 watts of power, SRD215 speakers deliver huge, clean power for small to large live performances and private events. Class D amplification is more efficient, lighter, and runs cooler than other traditional amplifier types. This is the reason Class D amps are used inside virtually all industry standard professional live sound speakers. Stage Right SRD powered speakers deliver Class D power at a fraction of the cost.
  • Designed with versatility in mind, Stage Right SRD speakers are sufficiently powerful as front-of-house speakers for large live performances, as well as portable and practical enough for private events and backyard parties. With Bluetooth streaming, SRD speakers can play audio from your phone or other device when the application calls for it.
  • Stage Right powered speakers feature combination XLR/TRS and RCA inputs for line and mic connectivity, while the XLR mix output allows for use of a subwoofer without the need for an external mixer.
  • Weighing only 44 lbs. each, Stage Right SRD215 enclosures are portable and lightweight, yet rugged and durable enough for stage use. In addition to the top handle and ability to be used as front-of-house speakers, the side handle and angled sides allow them to be used as stage monitors.

    • Good sound
Style: Speakers
Speaker is a little heavy @ 40lbs. Good clarity when music is played. Great price, wish it was wireless. Used it for an outside event.

    • I Want Another One!
Style: Speakers
On a limited budget, I needed to supplement my sound for live event. This speaker, along with my Samson PA system with two 10" 1,000 watt speakers made all the difference for that outdoor event in a small Church parking lot. Because my mixer is limited, I only plugged in 1 keyboard and 7 vocalists, everyone else went through amps. Instrumentalists can get louder and louder throughout a show, especially when they forget to turn down after solos. This speaker really brought the vocals and keys through all the noise. In addition to the customary line/XLR connectivity, I can use this alone for single and duo performances with tracks or vocal/keys, vocal guitar through SD, Bluetooth, etc., without schlepping the PA. The digital sound presets and music/voice controls are a plus and everything's easy to read. I want another one for our upcoming shows in the parks! ... show more

    • Fantastic For The Price!
Style: Speakers
I had been searching for a powered speaker for the Church's eDrum kit and looked at "Mackie","Yamaha", and a few others when I came across this one in a general web search. Very easy to set up and the mic channel is a LOT louder then the rest which I like a lot albeit the static is a lot more as well. Tinkering with the settings helped immensely. I plugged a USB into it to see how music itself sounds and it's LOUD! Fine by me! The louder the better I always say. For the price of this one New being less than a 3 year old "Mackie" Thump15 I just had to. For the price in my book you can't do better. Just a note.... if you buy it on "Amazon" get used to contacting "Monoprice" directly from the web site if you have questions. They said they are "working" on the web site issues! Buy it you'll like it! ... show more

    • Excellent Value
Style: Speakers
Our band booked an outdoor gig and we needed more powerful FOH speakers to get the job done. The SRD215's are very loud and were more than capable of covering the outdoor space. We like the audio quality better than the Behringer Eurolive B210 speakers we replaced. Are these Monoprice speakers on the same par as EV or QSC? I would say probably not but these aren't bad speakers by any means and are certainly a good choice for those on a budget. I am a bass player and, while these speakers do a decent job on the low-end, I'd still say a subwoofer is necessary. In our case I've got a Mesa cabinet and just use my rig as our sub. I wish Monoprice offered more in the way of documentation such as vertical and horizontal coverage angles but couldn't find these details. The speakers don't have a manual EQ but do have 5 different DSP settings. Again, there isn't specific documentation that I could find on what these 5 settings do. Yes, the setting names are somewhat descriptive but it would still be nice to know what freq's are actually being cut or boosted. We ended up trying a few until we came across the setting we liked best. Lastly, the holes in speaker bottoms for mounting on stands are slightly too big in diameter. We have OnStage stands and our Behringers fit nice and tight but the Monoprice speakers fit loosely and point downward slightly due to the slack. I purchased adapters that change the pole diameter from 1-3/8th to 1-1/2 but then the speakers wouldn't slide on at all. I suppose Monoprice is using metric sizing for the hole diameter which is close but no cigar. I ended up wrapping duct tape around the poles on our stands to get rid of the slack because I didn't like the speakers pointing downwards. All-in-all these are really decent speakers for the money. If you aren't an audiophile purist you'll likely be pleased. ... show more

    • save the packing materials
Style: Speakers
normally, i never have any problems with monoprice. i've purchased bulk balanced stage ready microphone cable. the stuff is great. okay, getting to this powered speaker: this is the second one i received. the first one, immediately started smelling like burning plastic that is consistent with the plastic encasings used in electronic components. btw, i was an electronic repair technician when i got out of college for about ten years so i know that tell-tale smell all to well. anyway, it worked for about three hours then nothing. it would not power up. i tried all the tricks i knew stopping short of opening this thing up and pulling the amplifier. it was dead. and besides, under warranty i wouldn't touch it. So the return was authorized and they sent me another one rather quickly. this one, so far, so good. all i use it for is a monitor for my keyboard piano and synth. i selected the fifteen inch version due to the bass notes that the synth is capable of producing. since this will not leave my house, i do not and will not push it to loud volumes. so if you decide to purchase these, save the shipping container. you might need it. oh, BTW, monoprice: if you're reading this you really need to implement more effective packaging. the box and Styrofoam forms used on the top and bottom along with the choice of corrugated cardboard the box is constructed of are completely inadequate. ... show more

    • Pleasant Surprise
Style: Speakers
These things are off the chain. I got two of them. They are now my main speakers. For the price I was not expecting what I got decent sound quality and a lot of loud, very loud. Very pleased I will buy more of these and probably convert my entire setup to this platform. As I look at more budget speakers I have seen this basic design and specs under three or four brand labels. ... show more

    • decent sound.

Very loud. Not much sub bass, but that is what I expected. I use them for powered monitors, and they work excellent. Very very quiet noise floor. Overall very pleased.
