I've had these lights for about a month so far. I'll update the review if anything changes So far, these lights are fantastic! They're such a nice color and they work so well for taking plant pictures. I had to move my big aloe because it was burning from the light (too much light, not from heat). The lights are somewhat warm but definitely nowhere near hot when working! I have them on a timer for 16 hours during winter and my plants look really happy! The succulents are nicely sun stressed, where they were all completely green beore I got these. Downside? I have to water them more often! The lights are really good and bright, so the plants are drying out easier from having so much light. They're a nice yellow light, compared to my white daylight bulbs and my purple plant lights, definitely my favorite because they make my plants look so nice and happy! If I ever get more shelves and space for plants, I'll be buying more! I got my set for $65, but the price seems to change around - every time I've looked at the listing, it's a different price. UPDATE Nov 27, 2020 I still love these lights! They're on a timer for around 10-12 hours a day right now, the 16 hours was too much for some of my plants. They're doing great! Unfortunately the sticky tape stuff doesn't stay well, so the one I had on my ceiling fell off (several times) a while back and so I have normal LED bulbs in a lamp on that one now because I can't use the mounting hardware in my apartment. The other ones are going strong, and I have a couple I'm not using now so I know I have backups if any fail me.

I purchased these to use with my Altifarm 3 tier. I couldn't source the OEM light kit and I am placing my farm where it won't get natural sunlight. I was able to use magnetic hooks and plant hanging chain (separate purchases) and with the included clips, connectors, power cords, and end plugs I have a lighting system that seems superior to the OEM one. Pros: the light is 2' and my gardens are 30" The light shines to all corners of the farm the connectors make the lights easy to set up out of the box the lights are very light weight easy to install and handle. I didn't have to read anything to figure out how to use them even though they are full spectrum, they shine white, vs. the blurple of most grow lights. after being on for hours, they remained cool to touch, even the metal housing for the light. I don't fear that my plants will be burned there were plenty of options for hanging and installation. I wasn't worried once I saw the included parts that I would be able to mount them switches on the power supply, and multiple power supplies and connector options make powering them easy and versatile to different grow needs the lights are definitely bright, but not so much so that they hurt my eyes each light consists of two strips angled outward, vs. one strip pointing downward. This gives greater coverage from one light. I don't really have any cons at the moment. I will report back in time to advise how they hold up and perform to help my plants grow.

I bought these to use in my indoor house plants. I mounted them temporarily with twist ties to shelving that is housing my mix of various tropical and common plants and bonsai. I am already considering buying more for my other indoor plants. These are incredibly lightweight. Using twist ties to mount them could end up a permanent solution. They are incredibly bright. They do NOT have a metal, reflection shield above them (like office or shop lights) so they throw light out to the sides as well as straight down. This is good if you have a bunch of plants. Great value for the product compared to the price. The installation of hanging clips was incredibly easy. Daisy-chaining 3 light bars was easy. The bridging and power cables are very long which is convenient for chaining a bunch together on a shelving unit. The power cables are 3 prongs/grounded so if you want to add a timer, take that into consideration when purchasing. Best used for shelf style grow setups. May mount one of my extra bars above my countertop in my kitchen for more light. After my first electric bill since install, I have not seen a bump in the bill. These wprk great on a timer with a ground prong. Only beef is the lights closest to the outlet have a very dim glow at night so they are drawing power somehow, even when the timer is off. They throw a level of heat that makes them touchable while on but hard to handle for a length of time while in opperation.
