After one week, I also could not get the rug to lie flat even with text books on the corners. There were a few loose threads and the rolled edges that also would not lie flat. This rug adds such an elegant touch to the dining room! Love, love, love it. I did put a think padding under it, as it’s thin, but it’s not in a high traffic area so thickness wasn’t a necessary for me.

I was so excited for this rug and still really like it overall. But there’s clearly a color issue noticeable with the center design. Most rugs have subtle differences but it’s very distinct and noticeable to the left of the central design. Disappointed for sure.

The product arrive quickly However, when we unwrapped it it’s got a horrible, almost dog urine smell. They’re replacing it and hopefully it’ll be odorless. The smaller carpet from the same company arrived with no odor at all.

I love it! I was worried at first after reading the other reviews because the cream color in the photos almost looked too yellow, but it’s actually the perfect shade of cream to match my couch. The pinks are also very light and not too vibrant where it would distract from your other furniture. However I would suggest getting a carpet gripper because it does slide on the floor. The fabric also isn’t that soft to where you would want to lay on it, but it doesn’t hurt your feet. It’s more like a hand woven straw texture with a slight softness to it. I also didn’t purchase this rug for feel but moreso for aesthetics, so it is perfect for me. ... show more
