Took it to Greece for a two week trip and it worked flawlessly. I even charged my Dell laptop and wife's Surface Pro with the highpower USB C so we were able to leave the charging bricks home saving space and weight. The front plug allowed us to plug in other items from home like my wife's flatiron which works with 220 and 110. The front plug has the typical safety cover so you really have to wiggle the plug into the front outlet. Just remember this is NOT a voltage adapter so what ever you plug into the front outlet must be compatible with the local power. Most devices these days seem compatible with 110 or 220 but just double check or risk smoking something. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Had to try this for its GaN capability. Functionality wise it does the desired job very well & I would recommend it. My 2 cents below: Pros: - Worked well for most of the powering needs & should cover almost all the countries since these have EU, UK & US AC extensions, and all other countries have adapted to either of these - Has 2 USB-A & 3 USB-C PD output port I have not seen the heating issue as of now during my test - Easy to use - Overall build quality is good. Very premium - Feels durable and long-lasting - The design gives a unique look to these - Very reasonably priced in this competitive market - Manufacturer warranty included Cons: - None that I see for this price and the power it delivers ... show more

    • This adapter doesn't accept 110V plugs.

This adapter works great for USB & USB-C chords and since it is a GaN it charges fairly quickly. The biggest issue, and you won't realize it until you need it, is it doesn't accept 110V 2 prong plugs. I didn't know this until I was in Europe & tried to plug something into it. I pushed as hard as I could without breaking the adapter or the prongs on the plug. I even reversed the plug to try it 180 degrees different, but it didn't work. I tried both of the adapters I purchased without any success. It looks like it should work but there is a block in where the plug inserts and it doesn't open, recede, or move out of the way in any manner so this is only good for using with USB chords. It is very unfortunate and since I didn't find this out until I was traveling, I can't even return it. ... show more

I like this charger because it looks cool and it didn't require extra add on adapters. It worked well for my trip to Italy and Germany. I wish the two-prong adapter (for Italy) would stay extended when trying to insert it into the outlet, but it worked well enough for my satisfaction.
