Placed over a 2 year old very firm spring pillow top mattress. Use to be my preference in my teens, interesting how we age we become less resilient lol. As a 105-110 lb girl it was way too hard on my shoulders and hips. Couldn’t afford a new mattress but waking up with shoulder and upper back pain for a year was horrible I decided to get a mattress topper, figured I could test how I liked memory foam in the process. Complete change. I can fall asleep in five minutes. No tossing no turning. Any position. Cuddling with partner in any position. My pillows feel better because I can actually sink into my mattress and they can support my neck and head better. I wake up with no pain I don’t want to get out of bed because urs so cozy. Anytime I overwork my back I feel much better after a nights rest and feel completely healed after two. Best purchase ever. Construction is amazing and I love the cover it comes with. ... show more

First, we were sent the correct size topper but incorrect size cover to go with it. Direct contact w/ the company fixed this right away and they mailed me the correct cover. Second, this made our slightly too firm Capser mattress feel great. I think its a perfect 'medium firm' and it works well for this side sleeper! If you're looking for something truly 'cooling' i dont think this is it. Id say its pretty temp. neutral. It doesnt get hot but i dont think it has cooling effects. Overall very happy ... show more

This is my second Molecule topper. It makes any mattress that does not already have a built-in topper into a very comfortable and supportive mattress. It redistributes your weight, which is important for me, as I have back problems from a previous injury. My first topper was in a closed, zippered, included cover. This one has an open cover that wraps around the entire mattress’ corners, preventing the topper from moving on the mattress. I highly recommend this topper. Amazon had the best price and prompt shipment. Addendum: A few weeks in and my queen size topper has developed a slight gulley where I sleep. At 158 lbs, one wouldn’t think this would happen. My other Molecule topper, fully encased in the cover, seems to be holding up much better. Not sure about why this is happening. ... show more

first of all, I ordered a queen. My bed is a standard size queen. It doesn’t come close to fitting. It’s too short on all sides. The foam is not glued together properly. It’s misaligned in several areas. The edges are cut jagged and there’s holes in it. This item was expensive and I’m very disappointed. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it and it’s expanded and doesn’t fit in the box. Also for the price it should already come in the cover. ... show more
