I like this fan. Does what its supposed to. Have it installed on the right side of the console to help improve airflow and direct heat away from the unit. It does have a bit of noise to it. Why wouldn't it have a little bit of noise, three little fans spinning fast will make a bit of noise. Turn up your game or music and you won't even notice. Continuous hours of gaming on this console at once and it hasn't gone out. USB port(s) are super convenient as well if needed. On/off switch is in the back which is little inconvenient, but atleast its not an eyesore any where else on the unit. Can't go wrong if in need of a fan for your console. ... show more

On one hand the fan is lightweight and aesthetically pleasing. Matches the XboxOne-S perfectly and truly has a seamless integration onto your Xbox. It looks as if it could have been made by microsoft. The fans are quiet and do not make much noise at all. The fan can also be mounted on either side of the Xbox and if you wanted to you could have one on each side by purchasing two fans. I also didn't have an issue installing this fan is it pops right in. Here are the negatives tho. The fans are not very powerful. I do see a noticeable temperature reduction but not as much as I had hoped for as I am an avid gamer in my free time and ive had overheating issues in the past with the original Xbox360. The fans must also be turned off manually. Turning the Xbox off will not turn the fans off. Also be careful not to break off the end of the power cable as it is really easy to do. As I have already bent mine like another reviewer. Not an issue but improvements could be made for the company: Build the fan with micro sb already attached inside. That way there is no way to break that end off and all thats left is to plug in the USB into the back of the Xbox. Plus shortening the cable could also be beneficial. Second the divets/holes should be deeper to be compatiable with other products such as dust covers. All in all ive spent $16 on coffee one day so I feel pretty good about this purchase.     • A good buy for peace of mind
There are many that would say that adding this item to your XBOX 1S does little or nothing to temperature improvements. The only fan in your console is an exhaust fan. This creates negative air pressure, where only exhaust is present. There is neutral pressure where both exhaust and intake fans are present. Lastly there is positive air pressure where it's only intake. Neutral is best, while positive is 2nd best and negative is the worst. This item has 3 intake fans, thus giving your XBOX 1S a neutral air pressure. For those who don't know component placement under the hood, placing the item on the left/right side will cool different components. Installing it on the left side (side closest to disco insert) will cool off the Blu-ray drive and the hard disk drive. While the Blu-ray drive doesn't need the air the overlooked HDD does! This gets hot during use and it has no fan. Important for HDD performance and longevity. Installing it on the right side (side closest to power button) will send air into the APU and power supply. The power supply has no fan either and it's also very important. The XBOX 1S power supply doesn't produce that much heat, it only draws 0.8Amps. That's very low. I would recommend installing it on the disc drive side to help out that HDD. The item also does not turn off depending on your power settings if the XBOX is off. This product looks fantastic! It's as if Microsoft themselves made it. It melds perfectly into the design and cosmetics of the console as if it's a stock item it came with. Hope this helps!     • Keeps it cool and sucks the hot air out
So I decided to do something different than what it was intended for by putting it on the fan and I have the xbox vertical so it's on the side of the xbox and let me tell you I have never once worried about frying my console. I may keep this when I upgrade to a series s just for kicks.

Works great installs great! Great value no complaint at this time. For all the people complaining about the manual on off switch there is a way to cut power to the ports through your settings unless you have the first gen of xbox one s. Still check many of the complaints I've read were little to no airflow this is true but you don't want a high speed fan that can pick up dust and other stuff or cause problems with your Xbox fan. I have the one s 1 tb second gen and the color matches and they both fit right on I also have the stand fan and the complaints about breaking the tabs is from man handling it you have to align the holes with the pieces then slightly bend it outward and it will slide right in. The fans are not loud at all and these are not ment to completely make it so you can't feel heat coming out because no matter what it's gonna get hot. As far as the usb/power cables I've had no problems at all. I'm not defending the company by any means all I'm saying is maybe you got a bad batch or your system is too old for these to fit. Check your settings. And of course these are knock offs they are only 16.99 better quality means higher price simple. I just played online for 3 and a half hours with both the top can and the cooling stand on high and it was of course warm but was by far not as hot as before I love these products they work so good! ... show more
