I live (and vote) in Ohio. When you vote, they have you sign a tablet computer so they can verify your signature. But there is only one stylus setting on the desk, so everyone is using the same stylus. Iโ€™d rather not share that, so I tried this stylus, and it worked! Other than that, the only device I could find that it worked on was a very old Palm handheld. I tried an iPhone 7 and a Samsung Galaxy 5 cell phone (the ad said it worked on a Galaxy tablet, but I guess not the phone). I tried an old Elo Touch monitor (which is an EMR device) and a Kindle. All without success. If I find something else that it works on, I will come back and update this listing. ... show more

    • If you have another NON Apple Pencil unpair that first

This thing is great. I almost let my lack of knowledge keep me from appreciating it. So when you get one of these non-Apple pencils the pairing procedure (at least from the user experience in terms of what you see on the screen) is not like pairing an Apple Pencil or like Bluetooth pairing. You can have an Apple Pencil and one non-Apple pencil paired at a time. I didn't unpair my other non-Apple pencil first and thought this one was broken. iPads don't list these items in any Bluetooth device list that I could see. Once I unpaired the other aftermarket pencil and paired this one I was good to go. I love the click action. It hearkens to an old pen clicking habit as well as covering the charge port. It writes beautifully. It's as good as my Apple Pencil but charges off of USB-C. So between this and the iPad I can always have a backup pencil that is charged. This one has a pretty sleek, distinct look. Some of the aftermarket units look like the Apple Pencil. This does not and that's a good thing so I can easily tell them apart. Also, the darker color doesn't scuff as easily as white. It's lightweight. For that reason alone I prefer it to my Apple Pencil. I recommend pairing this with a grip (easily found on Amazon).I prefer the UPPERCASE brand grip. Considering the price point I find this to be a better buy than the official Apple Pencil. ... show more
