Perfect!!

I love the feel and the look. The clear hard case on the back adds a layer of protection. It covers the sides perfectly and I all cords attach with ease. Wonderful price. I like it better than the Apple version. And, it is a pretty violet too.

Mind yourself around the colors

This seems to be a perfectly fine and lightweight case, which is what I needed. I wanted a red case, and thought I ordered one. However, cherry tomato red for this company is pure, unadulterated, and to me unappealing, orange. Just a heads up to other buyers. Other than the color, the case seems to be serviceable and what I needed. Edited August 16, 2024 I had posted that I did not care for the color - see above. The seller reached out to me to either provide me with a different color, or to provide a full refund. I wanted to update my review, and increase the star rating to five as their after purchase support could not have been better. I now highly recommend the product. ... show more

first off let's start with the positive things, obviously the price is great, I like that it comes in different colors and it's kind of like a matte finish and the back is very flexible, it's super lightweight and it does do the job of staying closed in the front until you want to open it and then it wakes the iPad each time. It's comfortable to hold in one hand and it doesn't really add any extra weight to the iPad so that's good for your wrist and hand if you're holding it with one hand. The bad things that I've noticed and I don't understand why they don't change, I've tried to show in the pictures. The edging that goes around the iPad is so thin which I don't understand because when you turn the iPad on you basically have a black edge that still goes around they could've at least made it double the width to make it feel like it's holding the iPad in better. When you hold the iPad open with one hand naturally the back material wants to start pulling away from the iPad if you grab it at the wrong angle like from one of the corners or something the iPad will literally just pop right out of the corner. I mean it's barely like a finger nail with of protection holding the iPad into the back of the portfolio. Then the corners don't really have any impact protection, they have like a little nib of silicone on the inside that supposedly is like an air pocket? That protects from corner drops I don't know? Hopefully I won't have to find out what happens to the corners if I dropped it. I really just wish that the edging was thicker so I felt like my iPad was being held in better. I'm still using this and I also bought the soke Case which is like this but instead of having a flexible silicone back it has a hard plastic back but it seems that it has the same amount of width edging that barely holds the iPad in. For me I was trying to find a lightweight portfolio style case that had a front cover that stayed closed if you put it into your purse or bag and also one that didn't have an extra slot on the inside to hold the pen because then it adds almost an extra inch and if you have small hands it's hard to hold the iPad in one hand especially there's that extra space. The other downfall is when you fold the cover back to use in typing mode it basically slides out from under the iPad, it does however work OK if you flip the iPad to watch something on it and have it standing on a table. ... show more
