I received a new ipad mini for my birthday in June and knew I needed to get a case on it right away. I have an ipad mini 1st generation and have a trifold case on it (THAT IS STILL WORKING EXCELLENT) and decided to stay with that style vs the newer styles that look like a book and when propped up and have some of the case sticking out towards you. I REALLLLLLY wanted to like this case. Originally, I had wanted to get a MOKO TPU case, but they were out of all the colors I wanted, so I went with this hard back MOKO case. I suspect the hard cover is too heavy, which is why the magnet is holding and it's falling down. I really tired to give it some time and was doing a short travel and needed a case, but I think I will be returning. I watched so many great reviews on this brand from YouTube and it seems that it was the clear winner compared to the other brands in this price point. While the pattern is very cute, THE CASE FALLS OVER A LOT and it makes me worried about dropping the ipad on the tile floors. I am tempted to try the TPU in Rhombic Datura, as it's back in stock now and is the original one I wanted to try. Overall, I can't recommend this case if you want to hold on to it easily as it's very slippery with the hard back plastic (plus it's kinda heavy) , the case DOESN"T stand and you risk your ipad falling and breaking/cracking. Perhaps cases just aren't what they used to be. My old case was from Marshalls for 6.99 and is still going since 2013!!! LOL I guess i'm cheap, but then again, I just want a LIGHT WEIGHT case that stands up. Hope this review helps someone. If I get a new TPU case I will let you know, but for now am shopping around. The idea of having to "rush to buy a new case" in time to ship this back in time is a pain in the ass, especially with Covid and staying in the house, which is why I haven't done it yet. But, as it fell again 3 times today and one time last night and fell of the bed (onto carpet at least) I knew my laziness wasn't the cost of dropping my ipad. CUTE PATTERNS, DOESN"T STAND!!! This case is for the 5th generation iPad mini, with the small hole on the back. I didn’t realize that it doesn’t really let you angle the ipad in different positions like other cases, and you can only really position it the one way, like in the photos. Overall the case seems pretty durable and I love the vibrant colors ... show more
