Just tested this out today and works as advertised! Came sealed in plastic wrap and also a seal that you rip open on the box so you know its brand new. A few things to note; -only works / compatible with iphone -although the price for this unit is the best I found (it is the newest model / tech) this did NOT come with the remote. I was a little saddened about that since the one on TikTok shop does, but they were offering a sale on here so snagged it. Hopefully they will sell the remote separately as I didn't want the other accessories -you can use with any app as long as the app uses the camera (this is just for motion tracking). The tracking is pretty nice in comparison to the older model I have with the AI tracking camera that attaches. I think the older one is a touch smoother but I like this since you dont have to have any extra attachments on your phone to track or clip it to the gimbal Overall highly recommend, just wish they offered the remote to match TT shop and then this would be a steal! I prefer shopping on Amazon and the shipping is always super fast.

I’d characterize this gimbal as the lower cost option to the Insta360 Flow 2 Pro. Both gimbals are built with Apple’s Dockkit capability that allows for near instant pairing via the iPhone’s NFC. That allows the gimbal to be used like it’s a native Apple accessory with no additional control app required, though Comitok has one, and I’ll get to that in a bit. It also means it works with just about every camera app available for the iPhone including Camera, Face Time, Final Cut Camera, Tiktok. That said, functionality will vary from app to app. For example, zooming did not work in the Final Cut Camera app. Out of the box, the MOGO only works with MagSafe iPhones. It attaches via magnet rather than a clip which works very well. The magnet is quite strong and I have not noticed my iPhone Pro Max 15 slip and it definitely has not fallen off. The magnet only holds the phone. It’s charged via a USB-C port. Part of Dockkit’s functionality is automatic human face tracking. The Mogo works well with this ability and follows human subjects (including selfie shots) with accuracy. It’s great for podcasters without a camera person because you can attach the gimbal to a tripod (a short one is included) and move around and the camera will follow. Unfortunately, Dockkit doesn’t track non-human subjects like animals or inanimate objects. So the options here are to use Comitok’s app or track your subject manually with the onboard controls. I downloaded the app to test out this feature but unfortunately the terms of service were in Chinese, not English. I attached a screen shot for reference. Since I couldn’t read the TOS I declined them and the app quit. Certainly, you can hit the “agree” button to use the app but I need to at least know what information I’m giving away. So, for me, the MOGO gimbal is limited to the basic features noted above. This is the main reason I could not give this gimbal 5-stars. Build quality is excellent. The gimbal itself is quite light and has a good in-hand fille. All the controls are at easy thumbs reach and responsive. If there is one negative the labels for the controls are so small they are unreadable, so you’ll need to read the manual and memorize them. Motor noise is effectively non-existent, and I have not noticed it in my captures. Unlike the Insta360 Flow 2, there is no hidden selfie stick. However, there is a ¼”-20 socket at the bottom of the handle to add one. A remote control is also included which makes using on a selfie stick practical.

This gimbal has potential, but a few key oversights make the user experience more frustrating than it should be. First, the biggest issue: nowhere in the instructions or on the box does it tell you where the trigger button is. That’s a basic omission. For the record, the trigger is located on the back of the handle, where your index finger naturally rests—but you’d never know that from the materials provided. Second, alignment is critical. If your phone isn’t positioned perfectly on the MagSafe paddle, your video or photos will end up slightly tilted. There’s no visual guide or alignment aid, so it takes trial and error to get it right. Once it's properly set up, the stabilizer works decently and the build feels sturdy. But the lack of clear guidance and sensitivity to phone positioning make this gimbal less beginner-friendly than it should be.
