Love the jacket especially for the price! I’ve only worn it once but so far I love it. I only wore a thermal long sleeve fleece shirt underneath nothing else and was plenty warm. Stayed dry although it wasn’t actively raining or snowing and I don’t fall too much but jacket was waterproof enough. Nice pockets. I like having a bright color on the slopes because my family can easily find me lol. It was hard to keep track of my boyfriend because every guy has the same dark colors on and I couldn’t tell where he was & never saw him pass me Down the hill!! So it’s nice to be a bright color.. I can’t speak to the longevity of the jacket since I’ve only worn it once, but it seems to be decent quality. Initially, I was going to return it because I found a Roxy jacket in store on sale that had some features of a nicer snowboarding jaxket (such as snow guards at the wrists & bottom as well as a double lining) but the rocky jaxkwt medium was too tight and the large was too big . This medium jacket fit true to size and was much for comfortable. It was also a third of the price of the Roxy so I kept this one & returned the more expensive one and was happy I did. My only complaint is I wish that it had a snow guard at the wrists. The Velcro to tighten around the gloves was a little difficult but overall not a huge deal . If I was a snowboarder with my hands on the ground more, it may have been more of an issue, but as a skier, no problem very happy with this purchase.     • Loved this coat but the zipper broke...

I had the same winter coat for a many years until it finally fell apart. After a lot of looking I purchased this coat last year and absolutely loved it. It seemed to be excellent quality and the XL fit me pretty well except for being a little tight at the bottom but once it was zipped up and pulled down over my hips it was never an issue. My keys did snag the stitching on one of the pockets causing it to easily become un stitched from the inside the first month but that was a fairly easy sewing job to repair it. Otherwise it kept me toasty warm and completely dry all of last winter, way better than any coat I have ever had and because it is such great quality that I expected it to last at least a few years. Unfortunately the zipper broke and now the teeth just separate when I am wearing it from the center so now I have this really great winter coat that is less than a year old that is basically useless because I can no longer zip it up. I always felt that the zipper was the weak link on this coat compared to the quality of the rest of it. The zipper seemed a bit cheap. And I did get a lot of use our of it as I was wearing the coat every day last season and putting it on at least 3 times a day to walk the dogs. So that definitely is a lot of zipping. Still, I did expect to get more than one season out of the coat. That said I loved it so much and the sale price is reasonable that I will be purchasing another one of the brand in a different style and hopefully have better luck with the zipper next time. For now it's loosing a star because of the zipper not lasting otherwise it would have been 5 stars all the way. ... show more

When I read all of the positive reviews, and saw the discounted price, I figured I would give this coat a shot. As someone who is chronically cold, this coat sounded wonderful. When I received the item it came in a vacuum sealed bag which did create a lot of wrinkles in the coat, but the color was as ordered. I wear a size small, but was hesitant about ordering a small coat in case I wanted to layer underneath, but I took a chance and ordered the small anyway. I took it out of the bag and noticed that it looked big for a small. I tried it on and it was huge. Especially in the width of the arms. I definitely could fit multiple layers under the coat. However the arms are too short. They hit just above the wrist when in a relaxed position, and if you go to reach for something they ride right up. I am also not a fan of the adjustable wrist, the velcro on them gets snagged on everything. When you zip up the coat it goes all the way up to the chin. But then if you use the hood, you have to pull it super tight to fit your head, if you velcro the hood together, it puts pressure on the front of the neck and digs in. Very uncomfortable and limits your head and neck movement. The length of the coat is okay, however it is not adjustable and because the coat fit so big, I think it would allow cold air to go up underneath, And if you're wearing it skiing or out in the snow, it for sure will allow snow and moisture to get up in there. I liked that the inside of the coat was "fur" lined, downside was the manufacturers did not carry that material into the arms of the coat. By this point I knew I was going to return it, but I figured let me see how it holds up outside. I went outside on a cold, very windy, winter day where wind chills are 11 degrees and I will admit I did not feel any of the cold wind coming through the coat. I really wanted to love this and have it be my go to but sadly I can't say that. For now I will stick to my current winter coat, and will probably look at buying a more reputable, more well-known brand. ... show more
