This was purchased for a trip to Alaska and it worked out great. After layering clothes the coat went on perfectly without feeling bulky and it remained lightweight. The multiple pockets were ideal for holding everything needed for the day. There are 2 large-sized hip pockets, 2 medium-sized chest pockets, 1 large inside pocket and 1 small ID pocket on the shoulder. The cinched, cotton fabric cuffs were great for covering the glove opening wherein no air penetrated and I remained perfectly warm. Finally, the hood was small enough to not block my view, but big enough to cover a helmet. Only downside, it would be nice if there were a way to close the neck of the hood. The coat has a top snap to cover the zipper and close off the upper part of the coat, but there's no way to snug the hood.

I really like the color, how warm it is, and how many different pockets there are. I also like that it's waterproof. The smaller waistline makes the coat attractive, but it also means there's less room for bulky sweaters (or stuffed bellies), so if you're between sizes, I'd size up.

I needed a jacket that was warm, water repellent and had several pockets. This jacket is warm, stylish and has many pockets to keep my hands free. The coat initially felt a little tight but loosened up after wearing and felt great. I haven’t tested it in the snow yet. The color was a little darker than I expected and there are front pockets but no side pockets however I still like it.

So glad I bought this coat! It’s super comfy, warm yet breathable, is well made, love the 2-way zipper, knitted wrists & multiple useful pockets. Suggested size was correct. Quality faux fur trim on hood is as nice in person as pictured. Very pleased. Highly recommend!

I like this coat and I'm glad I bought it. It's a great fit. I got a large (all my clothes sizes are a medium) but I got large because I like to be able to wear hoodies up under my coat. With the fluctuating Michigan weather I needed subverting that would keep me warm through fall and winter and I'm sure this is going to do the job. I love the pocket sizes and the black color is a deep black that I like not a washed black looking color. Overall this was a good choice to buy and was worth the price!
