Ok, so like other reviewers, I also had a problem with the "B" end cap not connecting to the end like it should. Several people stated it was because of the screws... It is NOT. Where you tighten the end, the silver hex nut... The hex nut needs to go closer to the end (towards the Left/wall), then you should be able to extend the bar one more notch in the middle, THEN tighten it into place. Otherwise, it causes too much of a gap at the end & the cap will not clip on like it should. I really wanted a curved shower rod for our guest bath but they were hard to come by in the tension version. I really didn’t want to have to drill through the tile that extended past the tub. I found this one and while I do think it was pricey, it looks great, is sturdy, and I think it will last. The instructions were clear and you don’t need any hardware or tools. I was able to install this on my own but it was frustrating. I recommend installing with a second person if you have someone available. ... show more

Rod works well. It is easier to install than by filling into a wall or tile. The curve is less than an install type, but it is good. Check your measurements carefully to make sure it will fit. The length of our bath was right in the middle of the range and it fit perfectly. Our bath is tile on both ends. As other reviewers have said, it's much easier to install with two people. I tried it by myself and failed - you just need someone to hold one end in place while you work on the other. I was able to set it up by myself although it would be much easier with another person - one person to hold the rod at the desired height and the other to twist in the tension. I have a STANDARD 5-foot tub installed between walls JUST wide enough to fit the tub. Extended as far as it can go, it's too short. I shimmed both sides and it's barely hanging on. I DID extend the screw end and still had to mount it on the shower surround instead of the wall - I needed the extra 1/8 inch to keep it up. The very large "decorative" caps mean that your shower curtain doesn't go anywhere near the wall. This is fine if I wasn't trying to hide the old shower insert which might have worked if Moen made the rod 1/2" longer with the 3/4" adjusting screw but they chose to save $.08 per rod and skimp on the size.. FULLY extended and shimmed, it's barely hanging on in a space 5' 1/8". It is also nearly impossible to hang without two people unless you're using it for a very small space. You have to keep one side in place while turning an extension knob on the other side to tighten. NOTE: I was trying to find a "no screw" rod because one wall is cinder block with a tiny space between the sheetrock and the cinder which makes screwing things in more difficult. I can't seem to find a larger one without screws but assumed a 5-foot rod would mount in a space 5' 1/8" wide. ... show more

I prefer curved to straight shower rods. Product looks great however the assembly instructions need work and clarification and it’s definitely a two person job to get it into position on the wall.
