We looked for a shop vac that actually had metal wheels as we've had several with plastic wheels that just didn't hold up. I was pleasantly surprised at the noise level from this DeWalt shop vac. I have much smaller hand-held ones that put out way more noise than this one. The suction is great. Rolls easily. Has nice length of cord and nice attachments. The fact that it can act as a blower was a bonus as we weren't looking for that in a shop vac. Of course, it's not as powerful as our regular blower we generally use but this one does work pretty well.
