Modvel Is a company I trust because I have a couple of their knee braces already and I really like them. Just like their knee braces this back brace is high-quality. When I put it on, I pull it tight and it has Velcro to hold it up. Then there are a set of secondary straps that you pull around to tighten it up even more. It stays on all throughout the day and is comfortable. It has a removable pad in the back, which I just leave in there. It’s simply Velcros in and out. Great brace. Sturdy, well constructed, easy to use, should be very effective! HOWEVER, they sent me the wrong size and this item had been returned before! Bag was taped closed, not sealed and size on bag was marked Medium, but the brace is marked Large!!! I am 3 days away from taking a cruise and newly diagnosed with a pinched nerve of my back. I need the brace, but it is too BIG. I am able to tighten it enough, but it doubles over on itself and is too wide. Contacted seller through 2 different avenues, that they recommended, in writing, but no response in 2 days. I have to return it, but will not arrive in time and WHO KNOWS WHAT SIZE IT WILL BE! I am NOT a happy customer at all! Human error, not garment error!!!! ... show more

Great overall 'lumbar support'. Nice, wide, EZ to use!

It's a great, wide 'lumbar brace' & works well for added lumbar support. With my experience of a work accident, heavy equipment cumulative trauma before & after due to Dr. misdiagnoses, (3) four level lumbar fusions, 1 surgery thru side to spine with wedge placed @ L3 for 3" pelvic tilt correction up on lf. side, T5 thru T10 thoracic spinal nerve cauterizations & literally 1000's of every therapy imaginable over 2 decades for chronic severe pain, a simple brace of any kind does not relieve pain. It definitely helps support full lumbar & helps to correct spinal posture. My goal thru continued therapy is to relieve pain symptoms, regain strength to FULL spinal & body atrophied muscles & get my life back. I will continue wearing this 'brace', as it does what it was intended for, but it does not perform miracles. Ha! ... show more

The knee compression of the pack was great! The back brace didn’t fit me at all so I threw it the trash because it was a regular size and I was unaware of this at the time of purchase. Outside of that I had found the first time a back brace of quality but the size was off. So this is why I gave it 3 star rating! ... show more
