    • Great option for tool box liner

I purchased this as an alternative to foam liners for an older Craftsman tool cart. I had previously purchased and lined the drawers with a perforated foam. I had noticed a while back that some of my plastic tools were sticking to the foam and eventually discovered some cheaper tools actually melting over time. From what I have read, this is due to some of the chemicals used in creating that style of liner. I did not really want to take that chance again and was pretty familiar with the consistency of automotive carpet and saw that suggestion online. This arrives folded in a rectangle and does take a little bit of time to flatten to eliminate wrinkles. It is about 1/8" thick - so it will eliminate rattling but it is not going to cushion things too much. To adhere it to the drawers, I cut it to shape and used carpet tape in the corners and middle (can get it any detail hardware store). The material cuts pretty easy with a decent set of scissors and going slow. I used a permanent marker and square to mark my lines. This has worked great for my purposes. I like the lighter gray color in my black drawers as it prevents things from disappearing. Great cost and I was able to line four drawers with it (with some leftover). Time will tell for longer term durability but I expect this to last as long as the prior foam with none of the downside. ... show more

The carpet looks nice in our car. Easy to use and easy to clean. You can cut the carpet easily if it doesn’t fit but ours fits perfectly. Worth every penny

I ordered the mid grey and I received the light grey. I gave the package to the stereo shop to install it on the box without opening the package first so it’s too late to do anything about it. The material I softer than most speaker boxes and rubs off easily.

I used this as a cover for the plywood securing my RV solar equipment. Much nicer and easier than painting the plywood. Give a real professional look, even if no-one other me will see it. I used 3m spray cement to secure to the plywood and had no issues.

I give a three-star rating because it felt like really cheap material however it was very easy to cut but the thing that I did not like the picture that looks like it's on a roll it is not on a roll it is folded when you try to install it on a speaker box with gorilla glue and you're trying to squeeze out the creases that is absolutely miserable I highly recommend that they need to change that and put it on a roll and stop folding it they probably sell a lot more ... show more
