It’s cute! Instructions are useless lol. Words of advice when putting this together, when you’re putting the 4 rod things on the big drum, make sure the logo is where you want it and the rods aren’t in the way of the leg inserts. Learned that after trial and error. Also there’s no note about how the foot thing connects to the bigger drum. It does. The instructions don’t tell you that though. I asked a friend who’s a drummer about the placement and all that after I put it together and he said it looks good esp for a toddler learning the drums. The quality is great. The box was small so I was concerned at first but it works. Seeing how small it is, I’m glad I had this in my cart for my nephew for about 6 months and waited for it to go on sale. I don’t think I would have paid $100-120 otherwise at full price. 4 stars bc the instructions were worse than IKEA instructions 😂. I did buy colored drumsticks too, this comes with wood ones but he’s going to want to jam out with red ones and I know his sis will want some too ... show more

These drums are excellent for the price! My daughter is 5 and missed the rinky-dink all plastic toddler kit she had when younger. Full size drums are overkill and electronic pads/kits don't offer the same experience for a kid in my opinion. These mini drums have real plywood shells and heads you tension. Even the cymbal sounds alright. She gets the real drum experience without taking up a ton of room or driving the neighbors crazy. Oh and she loves the pink sparkle finish! ... show more

My son is 10 but he's 4'11 and this was too small for him. I would suggest up to 4'6-4'7 feet in height.
