These drums are excellent for the price! My daughter is 5 and missed the rinky-dink all plastic toddler kit she had when younger. Full size drums are overkill and electronic pads/kits don't offer the same experience for a kid in my opinion. These mini drums have real plywood shells and heads you tension. Nice set for kids, but is pretty small. My son is almost 5 and he will probably outgrow it within the year. The drums themselves seem nice and sturdy but the stool is flimsy, although it seems easy to adjust for height. Good for beginners and is pretty loud, which my son loves. This Pink Sparkle drum set was a massive hit for my three-year-old granddaughter! She absolutely loves it. The sound quality is surprisingly good, the throne (stool) is the perfect height for her, and the entire set feels very sturdy and well-made. Highly recommend for any budding little drummer!
