The assembly is extremely easy and the legs are made of some sort Of medal or steal making them extremely sturdy. You will not go wrong with these. They are small for any tight spaces. I am IN LOVE with these chairs!!! Money well spent!! Very pleased with my purchase! A dream come true for me!!! They are velvet, soft, elegant, so comfy I can fall asleep on one!!! The legs are 100% solid strong support!! They are so easy to assemble that they were actually delivered while I was cooking dinner and ready to sit on when dinner was ready!!! They are bigger than I expected and you can sit in so many positions on them. I'm about 5'4 and 130 pounds and they support me great!! These chairs are so pretty I could cry so happy!!! I love these chairs, they are on the smaller side so do not overwhelm the space and are comfortable, sturdy and very lovely. They were easy to put together - only the legs had to be screwed in.
