I love the end result, invested a good amount of time to put it together, one mistake and you have to do it over again. Read the directions carefully and pay close attention to the direction of the parts. I would suggest going over the whole manual first to understand what you are doing. I like this table a lot. It has a lift up top and power outlets with USB ports. The legs are metal and therefore sturdy, but the wood is like a printed laminate with a dark wood pattern. I'm not sure what the laminate is made out of. It's not real wood laminate. More like a printed and textured vinyl. So as long as that doesn't bother you, it's a pretty nice table. Assembly took about 20-30 minutes. Most of it can be done alone but for the last step of screwing on the round top assembly onto the table, I needed another person to hold it in place while I screwed it in. The power block is nice and screws in to an inside panel. Also there is a ledge there for cables or power bricks to be so they're not just falling down to the bottom shelf. So it's nice that you can hide stuff there. When the table top is lifted up it reveals some hidden storage inside the table. There is a hole in there for the power cable to go down through. But I wish that there was a built-in way to hide that power cable or fish it down inside a leg. Or at least have some way to run it down along the side of a leg and hide it. I'm not sure how you're supposed to hide that cable. But still it's nice that there is power in the table. I teeter between 4 and 5 stars on this table. I'd say 4.5 stars but since that's not an option I'll give it 5. ... show more

This is a nice coffee table but you definitely have to work for it. The assembly process is like an experiment in psychological resilience and emotional balance. Not easy, is what I'm saying. We thought we had it together, but the circle top did not close properly on top of the square table. Had to basically take it apart and do it over. I wanted to quit, but husband refused to be beaten by a manufactured wood product. He prevailed and now we have this trendy looking table with efficient storage in our family room. It's a very affordable price, and it won't last forever, but it's good for now and would be a great table for anyone looking for a multipurpose coffee table on the cheap. ... show more

Do not attempt without a second person. You will die trying to attach the lift up top to the table without a second person. Also, you'll definitely scratch something and that will be annoying after almost dying, so I repeat, do not attempt without a friend. Overall, I do really like this table. I think it scratches a little easily and mine came with a nick in the edge. The instructions are pretty good, but not clear enough when there is a part that has to be installed in a really specific orientation. Double check before proceeding or you will wind up taking things apart and redoing it. However, it fits really nicely in the space I got it for and I LOVE the hidden outlets. I do think it's a pretty good value and think that it meets a lot of needs. Just get a helper and you're good to go! ... show more

You usually don’t see these lift up coffee, tables round. So this is really neat. And I really am glad that I have it. Kind of sad that it came disassembled. So that was kind of challenging. But now that it is put together the effort is over and I have a wonderful table. I recommend this wish it was on sale though. So maybe look out for then otherwise it’s worth it to really nice table looks great with a sectional or really any kind of furniture. We love it at my house. ... show more
