I dislike direct overhead light, and my office has really harsh overhead LED lighting. I disconnected it and put a desk lamp…yes…on my desk, and a reading lamp by one of my armchairs. I can't believe how much I love this lamp. The different lighting setting seem almost endless (they aren't but .... you know)! I'm not afraid of the dark, but I don't like being in the dark. I previously relied on the range light and felt this would provide the inconspicuous lighting that I preferred. This contemporary, minimalist, or maybe even techy is just what I was looking for and I am so satisfied. The lamp does appear a lil flimsy but the base does appear to support it. This would go well in small or medium sized apartment room. The price of this lamp would be appealing to people who decorate or stage homes. My only concern is the longevity of the light bulb or whatever emits the light. I did buy the extended warranty but I am hoping not to use it. This is also why I gave it 4 stars. I would recommend this product to friends, family and a few strangers :) ... show more

It’s kind of crazy that this light is listed for over $100 when not on “sale” This light has randomly turned on multiple times by its self and randomly will change brightness and color tone on its on. Don’t waste your money thinking you are getting a “deal” paying under $100 for this.
