This piece, if you like the look, will not disappoint. Assembly took awhile, and we were perplexed as to why the base frame was not attached earlier in the process of the instructions—would have been far easier to manage. While the side doors will probably not withstand abuse, the overall piece seems strong and sturdy for holding a large TV. Most of all, we were very happy with the look—the unique hardware/hinges, the color and finish of the “wood grain.” It does not look like a dated farmhouse mini barndoor concept. Just looks vintage, while still having sharp clean lines. It was well packaged and protected and did not have any damage upon arrival.

I took a chance when looking for a TV stand. I was very pleased with this risk. It is a sturdy and heavy piece of furniture. It came in one big box. The directions were good. I suggest buying a small container of wood glue. I didn't think the amount they supplied was enough. I loved the fact that there were extra screws and dowels. I used a power screwdriver/drill, it made assembly quite easy. I put this together alone. It took a couple hours but never got frustrated.
