A nice shade of brown. Does look a little more of a warmer brown in the sunlight. It doesn't slide on the floor. But, it is a little slippery to walk on. Overall, nice quality affordable rug. We go through area rugs a lot due to our toddler spilling things on it. So hoping this texture and color hides stains better than our previous style/color rugs.

The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t expecting much out of this rug but for $61 I thought that I would get more than 12 hours use. I purchased this rug last month and I only had it on the living room floor for about a half a day. Even within that short amount of time I was noticing that the colors were dimming, the faux fur was matting, and thing in the rug would not even come out after vacuuming. After just a few hours we could feel even the tiniest speck of dirt that had come into contact with this rug and they were all stuck inside of it. On day two I put this rug in the closet and had every intention of returning it. I just went to return it and I missed the return window by literally a few hours. I really wish I could get rid of this thing and get at least some of my money back but most likely it’s going to rot in a dumpster. I wouldn’t feel comfortable even just giving this rug to someone. We even tried our best to keep it clean during the short time it was out. It was not in our main living room and everyone in the house only wears socks, shoes are off at the door. Just minimal wear and tear destroys this rug. I honestly hope someone at Amazon sees this and will make it possible to at least get a partial refund. Do not buy this rug or any of the other patterns listed. You would do much better to just go to Goodwill and find a donated rug and clean it. So in conclusion goodbye $61 and hello Rod purchased from Goodwill
