I really like this base and top coat from Modelones. The base coat goes on really smooth it’s not as thick as some of the other ones I have tried. The top coat is a little bit thicker but not bad. They leave a nice shine and it seems like it will last a long time. The smell isn’t that bad either. The cuticle oil is nice it doesn’t really smell bad either. Overall I’m pleasantly pleased with this set of Modelone base, top coat and cuticle oil.

Already had the modelones coloring changing polish but didn't have the same brand base and top coat. The polish worked with other base and tops but I didn't have anymore base or tops anyway and decided to buy this. The base went fine. The color went fine. The top was funny/odd. I put it on and right a way it started to chemical react. Smelled like a perm a little. I started to cure it and my fingers were burning and it really was a strong smell. I brought them out for a few seconds then back in. It was fine after that. They were still tacky/sticky so I put them back in for another minute. Took almost two and a half minutes to cure. Not sure what the problem is but use with caution.

This item duo is a great beginner friendly kit. The base coat and top coat both require UV light to cure. The Base coat is sticky and thick that it easily adheres to any gel or builder. There is some thickness to both item and does not drip like other top/ base coats. The top coat does not leave a sticky residue , it may if not cured fully. Overall when changing nail colors the top coat easily files off with a hand file or drill. The top coat leave a nice shine that does not lift so easily. I know I can get 2-3 weeks without lifting.

I loveeee matte top coat on specific designs so count me in when it comes to this product. I honestly loved it and it was easy to apply as any other topcoat and it dried just about the same and the thickness of the product was amazing. It came with a lot of product and lasts a long time

The base coat isn’t UV curable (not sure if it’s supposed to be or not being a base coat). It dried with air pockets. Even though I covered the whole nail, it started to separate leaving dry exposed nail. The top coats also don’t dry well under UV. Had an issue with another sparkly clear polish from this brand so I’m not sure if it’s just the clear polish since the color polish cured fine. Definitely is an easy soak/peel off. I was rinsing dishes, not for long, and washed hands and one of the polished nails started to lift. Ended up peeling all of the polish off of my nails, took maybe 1.5 minutes to do both hands. Little damage to my nails, did peel a little on some nails but I think it’s because I didn’t really soak them and just pulled from dry nail. Does leave nails feeling super dry after peeling off. Nice polish if you like to change colors often but if you want longevity, this may not be the brand for you. My nails were only polished for 2 days.
