I’m actually pretty happy with the quality of this brand in gel nail polish to be honest I was a bit concerned about how well it would turn out solely because of how cheap it was in price for so many bottles at one time and worried that it may affect the way it would set up and increase the drying time needed to cure the polish, but so far so good! This polish works well for new users of gel polish as it allows adequate time to get the correct thickness and smoothness that u desire on ur nails before it becomes hard to work with on you, so u can really take ur time and work with it however long necessary and don’t have to just rush through it! Once u put it under the UV light though it does exactly as expected and dries right away and hardens without all the tacky stickiness that u get from some other brands I’ve used in the past. As far as the durability and length of your new manicure, that is going to honestly just depend on your own technique and how well you prepped ur nails in advance before applying this polish! It has the potential to really last a long time if applied correctly to well prepped nail beds and not peel off early, even when doing light work with your hands fairly often! I can keep mine on and still looking nice for over a week and half easily and probably longer if it weren’t for the fact that my nails grow out super fast so I’m constantly needing to do a fill or just usually start fresh because I like to keep changing it up. Base coat worked amazing with poly gel and overall changed my mind on base coats,used to think they were stupid but it helped even my uneven and flaky nails.the base coat and top coat need to be cured and after wiped with rubbing alcohol of course. The top coat was nice,it can encapsulate chunky glitter surprisingly and overall just feels like a great quality polish. My favorite part is the cuticle oil,its nothing special but it smells like clover honey and while I know its just vitamin e oil,it smells so nice. Small bottles but it was a good investment in me trying to figure out polygel. Would buy from the brand again.

The Modelones Gel Top & Base Coat set works great! The base coat goes on smooth and helps the color stick really well, and the top coat gives a super glossy, salon-like finish that lasts for over 2 weeks without chipping. Cures quickly under my LED lamp. Just be sure to cap the edges for best results. Great value for the quality!

The media could not be loaded. These are not the biggest bottles but they're not the smallest either. They're a good midsize bottle of gel polish top coat, matte top coat, and a base coat. The top coat is easy to peel off if it's not done right and so you do have to do it with care. The base coat sticks quite well and is a smooth finish so when you put other colors on top of it it looks great. The matte top coat does a really good job at keeping it matte without being clumpy. I've had some where they're really really clumpy and this one is great. You can see in my video and the difference between the gloss and the matte. I love that this is all three in one. I did have a set with a bonder and I don't know if that did much and this base coat works great without the bonder. The top coat is a alcohol-free finish so you don't have to wipe it with alcohol when you're done with it and it gives a nice smooth finish. I rubbed mine without alcohol just to make it shiny air anyway because I like the feeling of having that clean top coat finish. *Updated review! I really do like this set! The manicure stayed for just about 2 weeks before it started chipping away around the edges. The mat coat did go brownish gray after about 1 week. You can see in the attached picture the edges are the normal color what it should be and the gray brownish tint is what it ended up as after about a week.

This item duo is a great beginner friendly kit. The base coat and top coat both require UV light to cure. The Base coat is sticky and thick that it easily adheres to any gel or builder. There is some thickness to both item and does not drip like other top/ base coats. The top coat does not leave a sticky residue , it may if not cured fully. Overall when changing nail colors the top coat easily files off with a hand file or drill. The top coat leave a nice shine that does not lift so easily. I know I can get 2-3 weeks without lifting.

The base coat isn’t UV curable (not sure if it’s supposed to be or not being a base coat). It dried with air pockets. Even though I covered the whole nail, it started to separate leaving dry exposed nail. The top coats also don’t dry well under UV. Had an issue with another sparkly clear polish from this brand so I’m not sure if it’s just the clear polish since the color polish cured fine. Definitely is an easy soak/peel off. I was rinsing dishes, not for long, and washed hands and one of the polished nails started to lift. Ended up peeling all of the polish off of my nails, took maybe 1.5 minutes to do both hands. Little damage to my nails, did peel a little on some nails but I think it’s because I didn’t really soak them and just pulled from dry nail. Does leave nails feeling super dry after peeling off. Nice polish if you like to change colors often but if you want longevity, this may not be the brand for you. My nails were only polished for 2 days.
