I have been doing my own gel nails for years. I usually use Sally Hanson, but I saw the price of these so I decided to try a different brand and I am glad I did. The polish goes on smoothly and lasts almost 2 weeks. I like to swap out my colors every week so I had no issues with it chipping or peeling before I wanted to switch my color. I love the colors, they are perfect for fall! I have never been a fan of glitter polish so I wasn't planning on using the glitter polish that came with the set but I decided to try it out and I love it! The glitter is not gritty or rough to the touch and it goes on as smooth as the regular polish. I used one coat of the glitter over top of the regular polish (I only paint one nail on each hand with the glitter) and it is perfect! I just received this set if polishes yesterday and immediately wanted to test them out. I chose the pink-purple polish to start. This polish is a thicker gel and the pictures show the results after 3 coats. It is a sheer gel- buildable but still sheer (which I like) with some large glitter pieces. I cured my nails after each coat and they set really well. I new to gel polish and gel nails altogether (this is only my 2nd time doing my nails at all), but I like the way they turned out. The only issue I really had was some of the larger glitter pieces were sticking out of the cured polish so I had to use a couple coats of top coat to remedy that w/o wrecking my finished look. -Easy fix if you don't mind a tad thicker look on your nails. It’s definitely a unique set of Polish, but I'm excited to try other colors. I tried to show the complete shade transition while warm (the lighter pink) to cold (dark purple). My nail beds are basically the pink shade with the dark purple showing where my free tip is. All in all a pretty neat polish that is something different from your normal solid shades. ... show more

I love the vibrant colors in these polishes. Some have specs to give a galaxy finish, some are straight colors. I was surprised to see that it's not only the room temperature that changes the color, but when when I get cold or hot, that also changes the color. The polish is easy to use & easy to remove from skin if you get some on while painting your nails. My LED lamp worked perfectly to dry them quickly. I did use dehydrator, primer, base coat & top coat to get the shine you see, but they still started peeling off after a day. My nails are super smooth & this is normal for them so it's not a defect of the polish. ... show more

I liked the neutral tones of these polishes but expected them to be more "sheer" and "natural". Instead, the polish is opaque - with two coats as recommended you can't see through it at all. That said, the colors are as advertised and went on smoothly and easily. However, I had a VERY difficult time removing it. I followed directions and even searched for tips online. It took forever to finally remove the color and I damaged my nails in the process. I've tried it twice so far and will use it again but only when I a long-lasting manicure is a must. Where there is white, that is actually clear. The colors are a bit translucent so you see your nail underneath. They are not completely sheer though and have some coverage. The color changing is SO FUN. I would recommend a topcoat on these though. They eventually peel off which I like so it helps prevent damage to my nails. These are great. But I highly recommend buffing nails bfr polishing. And if you have a UV lamp, definitely use. It bakes the color. Nail polish will peel off if you don't.
