It’s a nice product, you just don’t get a lot. It comes with instructions and a nice brush. I did one full set with 2 coats. You can see in the second photo that it used about half of the product. It’s a transparent shade (the blue in the center of the nails is adhesive for the nail stand) but I definitely used two coats. Its not as quick to self level as traditional gel polish, you just have to use more and be careful with brush strokes. It looks good, pretty. I’m excited to try the sparkly red and navy blue colors. Worth the $10 to try out something new. *The manufacturers photo makes it seem like the transparent colors are jelly or iridescent- they are not.

This solid gel polish is not as sheer as other brands, which is a good thing. I have it three stars for the “sheerness” category because I would like it to be more opaque so I could use fewer coats. It takes three thin coats to reach the desired opacity. I mean, you don’t actually want these types of products to be sheer. Especially darker shades and colors. The gel applies fairly well, with minimal streaking. It wears as well as any other brand I’ve tried.

4 thin coats, kinda streaky. Doesn't level like regular polish, but that's the point lol. I think I prefer thin coats of regular gel. I'm sure this has its uses, or takes more practice. I'm pretty good at polishing my nails though. As of this writing, it's just ok. Pic, please excuse my calloused palm, the pinky is the square container gel. The other fingers are the modelones gel sheer that I went over when trying the square box, I did those last week. You can see the brush stroke heights in the pinkie. It didn't smooth out with clear. Maybe good for shorter nails and shorter strokes or maybe nail art? This regular gel is incredible though, it doesn't peel, chip or bubble. Wish I tried it before buying 10 bottles of expensive regular polish. Gel lasts until grown out, I've too much nail polish now. I use clear gel and then polish over it with regular polish, to use up the regular polish. My free time no longer revolves around my nails. Hard to get used to, quite honestly. Acetone doesn't even touch the shiny top coat of the gel. I take off the regular polish and am left with a still perfect gel coat of clear, or sheer gel nails. Amazing. It is redefining how I approach my nails completely. Update: I have determined I prefer the regular gel. Thin coats, no flooding, better leveling. Especially if you don't cure immediately. Let it sit for a minute, it levels a bit. The square box is probably good for actual nail art. It just doesn't level, stays where you put it and has height if you want it. Like a real painting lol.

the “shell effect” doesn’t work. Used the dotting tool like the pic says.. just looks like squiggly lines. I drew lines on a thin layer then repeated and nada.. thick layers as well, no effect. Hence the 4*.. other then that the colors are beautiful.

You get a very small amount of each color but the colors are rich and vibrant. If you are looking for a color scheme for an occasion, this is for you. The colors are creamy and thick so one or two coats works with a UV cure and topcoat works. The colors are not runny and won't spill. Any of these are a must buy!!!

This is so better than just doing the polish it stays on the nail and I don’t get it all over on the sides and everything. I love it I’d recommend to anyone that does their own nails now I totally do my own nails and I never go to the nail salon at all

This is great cause it saves me space. But I do have to use a nearly half a cube for both hands. There’s not as much product in it as I would like, but great if you’re just starting to do your nails.
