Just a great product at a great price. I loved it so much I bought it twice for two different monitors. Works very well and is very maneuverable. The installation is also super easy not matter which option you choose (I did one that I anchored through the desk and one with the clamp.) only complaint is that the instructions tell you to use a drill bit size that is too small.

I am reviewing the HUANUO Single Monitor Arm 13-34 Inch, Adjustable Gas Spring Arm. It was well packaged and there were no missing parts. It was lighter than I expected compared to an Amazon Basics model that I purchased about four years ago. Regardless build quality is good and it does all the rotations and movements and advertised and was easy to install. I used the grommet mount method, drilled a hole through the desktop slightly larger than the bolt and it mounts securely with the clamping plate that goes under the desk and the included wing nut. The base that is on the top of the desk has four rubber feet to prevent it from turning once clamped down tightly. It's secure and doesn't move when adjusting the arm. I did reinforce the underside of the desktop with a thin piece of wood to distribute the clamps pressure more evenly, it's a cheap pressboard/veneer desktop from IKEA! My desktop with the reinforcement is 2" thick. When I first installed the base and assembled the two arms I noticed the spring tension was very strong with no weight on it, the manual says it comes set to about 11 - 13 pounds and it can hold up to 22lbs. I believe it! My 34" monitor weighs just under 11 pounds and I had to dial back the tension quite a bit but once adjusted the arm held the monitor in place exactly how I wanted it. It's easy to adjust the height of the monitor. The bolt that adjusts the tilt of the monitor was VERY tight and took a bit of force with the allen wrench to loosen it. Side to side motion is smooth and the arm itself moves very smoothly as well. I like that I can push the monitor all the way back to the wall if I want. VESA patterns are 75 x 75 or 100 x 100 max. The included machine screws and washers fit perfectly with the Samsung monitors mounting holes. Documentation was included, didn't have to scan a QR code. For reference I mounted the SAMSUNG 34" View Finity S50GC, also purchased from Amazon. The mount makes for a very clean install and frees up all the space under the monitor. Love that. Overall, for $29 I am very satisfied and would recommend this mount and I would buy it again if the need arises.

My monitor specs for reference: CRUA 34'' Ultrawide Gaming Monitor (75x75mm mounting) which weighs a bit less than 15lbs. Unfortunately this mount is not working out for me at all despite my genuine attempts. For starters, the screw sizes it came with did not fit with my monitor, even with the spacers it provided. Luckily I had spacers from previous furniture builds that I was able to use. The main issue is that the arm does not hold its position. The monitor falls down no matter how much I tighten the screw as directed. It also constantly tilts forward, again, no matter how much I tighten the screw as directed. I even tried using my power drill assuming I just wasn’t tightening it quite enough, but it still falls. Extremely frustrating. While the material feels sturdy, it clearly is not serving its intended purpose for me. Also, the stickers on the arm will not come off without some kind of chemical removers. This isn’t a big deal, but it was just really annoying after the rest of the issues I experienced. I suppose you get what you pay for, the price was amazing of course, but I should have spent the extra $15 on a better quality mount. It doesn’t feel worth it to me to get all of the pieces of this back in the box to return it.
