I think I’m catching up on 10 years of sleep! My bedroom window faces the east, even with a shade and drapes sunlight was still getting in. Super easy to install, it took me minutes, you can easily take down and let the sunshine in, it COMPLETELY blocks out light. The only minor downside is the side facing outside is silver, however I take mine down everyday just to let light in. I absolutely love this and don’t know how I’ve went without it for so long If you work midnights this is perfect

The media could not be loaded. This blackout shade does a good job with the main thing it is supposed to do: block light. I used it on a bedroom window where early morning sun was coming through, and it made the room noticeably darker right away. The cut-to-fit design is useful, especially for odd window sizes, and I like that it can be installed without drilling, which makes it a practical option for rentals, dorms, RV use, or temporary setups. The tradeoff is that this is more of a functional solution than a polished window treatment. You need to take your time measuring and cutting for the best result, and the adhesive works better when the surface is completely clean. It also is not as neat-looking as regular curtains or custom shades. Still, for light blocking, flexibility, and easy installation, it works well.

These are the most amazing things you can buy! GREAT DEAL!! they are so strong and do not rip easily. They can be put up taken down and put back up again. Season after season. The Velcro strips and double sided sticky dots do not pull off paint, they do not leave residue on the window windows. I use them on my east facing windows because we have the sun coming right into those windows every morning and over the summer, it heats it up in this house. I have a video of me putting it up in my son‘s room with the Velcro strips, it took me six minutes to put them up. And then trimmed it out cause I’m just using it on the glass to keep the sun light out and I use the left over on smaller windows next to my front door with the sticky dots that took me three minutes to put up. For some reason Amazon doesn’t like 8 minute and 4 minute videos 😂😂😂

I used it to cover part of my bookcase instead of the Windows. The shelves held computer equipment and electronics with many visible wires, which looked cluttered and collected a lot of dust. I covered three sides of the bookcase shelves while leaving the back open for ventilation and cable access. It made my study look much cleaner and more organized. The material was easy to cut to the right size, and it came with both Velcro stickers and more permanent adhesive options. For my needs, the Velcro worked perfectly. I would definitely purchase it again for a similar setup or even for window use. Just be sure to measure your window or space carefully, as the covers are not very large and you may need more than one.
