This is a compact hat press skit that includes the hat press, resting tray, base, wide heat tape and basic pair of heat gloves. It’s a starter kit to start pressing custom hats. I had trouble turning it on as I had to hold the power button for over 5 seconds or so to switch it on. Once on, you can press the power button to cycle through the temperature settings. It heats up fairly quickly and beeps to notify you that it’s reached it selected temperature. My initial press with a letter patch showed that the base and the plate may not be perfectly aligned so I moved the press side to side to provide even heat and pressure. Second time around it adhered perfectly. If you have trouble getting image to transfer evenly, you may want to consider moving the press side to side and add additional time to get the image transferred evenly.
