I bought this to replace my old one which after years was only being held together by a singular thin nylon piece. My old one over time also started to sag with the weight walking around with my ID. This thing has been a great replacement so far. I've been using it for months and the strength of the cord has been holding up well and it has a significantly stronger pull which means if you have a bunch of heavy keys or things on it, its going to hold them up well. It does take a little more force to rank on it to scan my badge but its not so much its a problem or anything. This feels like a quality product and spending a little more on it was worth it. I like that I can clip the little hook on my pants loop as well.

I love how strong and durable they are while still being light weight. The steel wire is coated too so there’s no frays that could snag clothes or cut you. The wire snaps back fast when let go and doesn’t seem to loose its tension so far. Over all very satisfied.

I ordered these because I use two badges to access my office. My previous retractable keychain worked well but was often weighed down by the extra badge. With these, that’s no longer an issue. The gauge of the wire provides substantial support, and the flexible badge clip is much more durable than my last one, effectively eliminating that as a potential point of failure. It also comes with an additional metal key ring, which I’ve been using to keep my emergency keys for restricted access areas close at hand — and it’s been fantastic. Overall, I give this product a 10/10. I expected it to be flimsy despite the “tough” design claim, but I was completely wrong.

Originally purchased January 2023 and found this to be pretty good quality. The first one gave me an issue were the plastic ended up deteriorating and snapping, but for both of them the only issue that happened is the protective cover on the cable wore away and the steel cable started fraying. Just be careful to not get poked. To get over a year of use 5 days a week for each this product and price point is hard to best for me.

Perfect for my keys at work. My ID and keys are a little heavy but this one never pulls down on its own...it's very sturdy. I purchased a different one on Amazon and the keys were hanging down. I'll buy another one of these for back up. Build quality: The retractable line is very sturdy, holds heavy keys/ID Functionality: I can hang this on a lanyard or clip to my belt loop at work ..no more need to bend over to unlock things.

i work at ups and am running around nonstop any of these ive ever had got caught on something and snapped off and i lost my lighter / badge / key. ive been using this for a few weeks now and its never ripped from any snag. holds my badge real nice. i wish the circle piece was smaller but aye you get the crazy long super nice cable. hooked up some random objects and it was able to hold up a heavy knife easily so im sure it holds everything great if you have a bunch of keys
