I like it because I don't have to use a paper filter and I can fill it with more coffee grounds. The handle is essential when I have to move the filter to another container. Excellent flow; good value for the money; easy to clean (put grinds into compost bin); shape fits my carafe.

It fits well enough, though it doesn't sit down in my glass brew cone (Ham. Beach craft coffeemaker). The metal construction allows me to bend it so that it sits down far enough. I like the flavor better than paper, though I'm getting a bit of silt at the bottom. It doesn't bother me and I may just need to coarsen the grind a little. It's not too annoying to clean, a brush is a good way to go. I thought the solid bottom would be counterproductive and hold liquid, but it actually doesn't seem to. All in all it's pretty good, given my somewhat non standard brewer.

With that being said. These are the nicest coffee filters I've ever used. I have a $20 coffee maker and these filters fit like a glove. Very fine mesh, I swear it even made my coffee tast better. They are made so well im expecting it will be a long time before I need to get new filters again.

Love the fact that these are reusable. The only downfall is that these left a lot of sediment in the bottom of the coffee pot. I stopped using them.

This cone filter does a very poor job at filtering out the finer coffee particles. I use it as a primary stage filter inside a secondary paper cone filter to capture the finer particulates. Even so, the filter paper clogs up with a thick layer of particulate sludge that forms between the two filters.
