Let's start with the fact it is a quarter inch drive set. It's for light duty use. That being said there is a lot of bang for the buck with this set. Nice case and a nice assortment of regular and deep sockets. Product seems to be decent quality especially at the $30 price point. Would recommend.

Really good quality for the price. I actually like the case because I don’t used 1/4 very often but when I do it’s usually in a cab so it’s nice to bring the whole set up there.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the set. I like that there are no skipped sizes and it includes normal and deep sockets for metric and SAE. Unlike other cheap sets I've seen, they didn't cheap out by not machining the detent that holds the socket onto the ratchet. The ratchet is fine, but I'm not a big fan of the spinner handle. It doesn't fit very well in the hand since it has 4 sides. Would have been better if it was round. Also would be nice if the extension bars had some knurling to make quick turning with your fingers easier. The case I received looks a little different from the pictures, a bit nicer actually. However, I do wish the sockets on the bottom snapped in. Instead they just rest in place so there is a chance you could spill them everywhere if dropped or bumped when open. I also wish it had a real hinge and not just a thin piece of plastic that bends back and forth since they tend to fail over time. ... show more

For around the house this set is perfect. If I were in the trades I would opt for something else. Decent quality at a great price.
