I am well into my senior years and still learning. I got these pillow covers and figured they were definitely too small for my pillows but in reading more, I see that you’re supposed to have larger inserts than the covers so they fill out and be nice and fat! They even tell you fold the inserts in half to get them in the covers. It works! I am using my old pillows for inserts. Stupid to buy inserts when you already have pillows that aren’t torn or flat. The older pillows were pretty fat themselves so it was a bit of a struggle to get them into the inserts but they look so nice. The zippers are those really nice invisible zippers. I just hope they’ll hold up. I ordered the coral color and they are just like the picture. by the way, the back of the pillow covers are a nice soft suede-like fabric, which of course, matches the front perfectly. One of the reasons I went ahead and bought these is because one user said she has dogs and kids and she can easily sponge off whatever she needs to. I would not put these in a washing machine but I would wash them by hand and maybe toss in the dryer to fluff up. ... show more
