I'm not sure what sort of paper/surface is optimal for these markers, but the colors came out pretty dark and muddy on the sketch pad we used. Colors don't feel as metallic as I'd like. Also was under the impression these would be close to paint markers, so I thought they'd have a creamy consistency. Nope. Maybe my expectations were skewed on this and I was expecting something I shouldn't have. But these didn't really do it for me. They are still usable as markers, though! ... show more
