With over 15,000 positive ratings what more can I say, well in fact I do have a few things to add. I’ve owned quite a few similar over the door shoe organizers and for just about every reason I could think of this one is the best. But let’s be reasonable, it’s only a thirteen buck utilitarian storage system, it either works for your purpose or it doesn’t, and if it doesn’t just send it on back. EXPECTATIONS I have a very small walk in closet, at least it’s bigger than most. It has clothing rod on three sides and enough room that I was able to install some shelves for tee shirts, which I have a lot of and I don’t like stuffing away in a drawer, and I also dedicated two shelves for my shoes. I have 24 pair which may be a few more than most guys. It so happens that this organizer holds exactly 24 pair. And let’s clear something up, it seems some customers were disappointed because they expected each pocket to hold more than one shoe. I’ve never heard of such a thing unless they are very small sandals. That brings me to the first thing I like which is that the pockets on this thing are much larger than most, they easily hold my largest hiking boots without sagging or stretching. Next on the list of things I like is that they use metal hooks not plastic like most other brands and they use four of them which hook into very large metal eyelets, thus spreading the weight equally across the door top. Before you buy any over the door storage item you have to face the reality that there is no standard for how much clearance there is around any door in the world so there is no possible way that something like this can fit every possible variation. It’s not the fault of the product nor is it the fault of your home builder. It’s just reality. There has to be a compromise, either the metal is super thin to fit most door clearances or it is thick enough to support the weight of 24 shoes. I think this company does a good job striking a good compromise and I believe these hooks are up to the task. When I suddenly decided I needed something like this it was an aha moment, I have sliding wood closet doors and the inside door was being completely wasted as a useful area. This organizer is exactly the right width and length for the average sliding closet door and the bonus is that you don’t have to worry about door closure clearance because sliding tracks give you plenty of clearance for hooks like they use. YES OR NO There isn’t a product made that is perfect for everyone, which is why I tried to give you as much information as I could with real life photos of how it’s made and how it’s used. I bought this with my own money and didn’t get anything free – I was swayed by how many other people liked it and I can vouch for them being right, this company did what it takes to make it right and keep it reasonably priced. I can’t see anything wrong with it at all. I don’t expect it to last forever but it’s obvious that they used good materials and sewed it together properly. I am very happy with it and I believe that this product truly deserves five full stars.

I ended up purchasing two of these because I looked up space saving ideas/tips with one of these organizers for small apartments, and found some really cool ideas for these! These were a really good deal, the quality is great, comes with little hanger hooks to attach over your door. I bought one for our very small coat closet on the inside of the door for all of our shoes. We are sneakerheads around here and live in a small apartment where space has really been an issue. This solved our problem with shoes being all over the place, and my fiancé is really picky about these shoe racks or shoe organizers because he claimed his shoes wouldn’t fit in any of the over-the-door organizers and that others would scuff his shoes up, we found this one that would definitely fit his size 12 shoes in! I used the other one for the back of our bedroom door to put some of my 2 year olds shoes in and some miscellaneous items of his, even including some outfits. We have had these hung up and in use for about two months now and have worked great. They are good quality and you can’t beat that price! We are really satisfied and have no complaints.

First off I just want to say that this product does work! You just may have to make adjustments to your door or buy hooks that hug the width of your door more. Let me explain: I wanted to organize my cleaning products. They were taking over all my closet space to the point where they got lost in the mess. I finally had enough and purchased this product. At first I attempted to place it on the back of my bathroom door, but unfortunately there was not enough clearance at the top to allow the hooks room to close. I then looked at my closet door, also located in the bathroom, and noticed the clearance was about 1/8 inch. It was more than the other door, so I tried it and it closes perfectly fine. I didn't bother to fix the first door because I've realized it looks nicer on the closet door anyway. HOWEVER, if the door you wish to hang it on isn't closing for you then you have options. First option would be to search for a smaller and thinner hooks. This hook is designed for doors as thick as 1 2/3". This means the hook won't be flush with the door, which causes problems when trying to shut. Try to find a set that fits the width of your door more such as 1.5 inches for thinner doors. If that option isn't in your favor, another option would be to sand it down with sandpaper. If paint is present, it's possible the paint is to too thick and you may have to thin or remove the paint, before sanding. I admit I have not attempted these suggestions, but I plan to in the near future so I can order a second over the door rack. I will return to my review and update once that happens, but until then rest assured this is a very nice closet organizer and space saver.

Purchased for our pantry door- We have a water bottle issue in our 6 person household, and this has done wonders for our cluttered countertop. It fits almost all water bottle types, holds them well, no rips after weeks of use, and I would definitely purchase again.
