I recently downsized from a spacious home to a small condo. I have tons of shoes, especially sandals and summer shoes. Not wanting to store them in my attic space, I thought I'd try this hanging shelf to store some of my favorite sandals that I wear most often. Each compartment fits women's size 9 perfectly. Side pockets are convenient for smaller accessories, belts, scarves etc. Shipping was on time and it arrived in perfect condition. Although quality feels good for what it is, I wouldn't recommend storing anything heavy in this because it doesnt feel strong enough to hold something heavy, but a light weight pair of shoes is fine in each cubby. If you're tight on storage space or want to be more organized, try one or several of these. I may buy another one for my spare bedroom for more storage needs other than sandals / shoes. I wanted something to get my pile of shoes off the middle of the closet floor. These work. They hold 8 to 10 pairs of shoes and that is all I needed. They are functional and serves the purpose for which they are intended. I purchased two sets and have just ordered two more. The dividers are built-in and extremely sturdy - won’t slip out or bend under weight of shoes. The pockets on the side are great for accessories like shoe polish, odor eaters, insoles, laces. The fact that the shoes don’t have to be manipulated like puzzle pieces or turned on their sides to fit makes all the difference in whether the man friend actually uses it. (It’s also more visually appealing.) as shown in my picture, fits size 11-WIDE athletic/golf and dress shoes. The generous height of each shelf could probably even accommodate high tops/heels. I downsized into a tiny studio apartment. I'm pleased to say that mindful letting-go of Things made my new space fit me very cozily-- and with even more mindful organizing I continue to open up new storage areas. This shoe organizer takes up only a little closet space and the 8-pair version leaves enough floor space beneath it to fit a bin full of whatever. Each shoe-space holds a pair in plain sight, so easy to reach. Tiny glitch in the mailing: the little hooks for hanging were missing from the original package. But Amazon and this vendor made for a very easy solution. (Took just a week for the parts to reach me by mail. Who can't live for a week without a shoe organizer?) PEOPLE! IF anything ever goes astray with an order, don't just place a disappointed review that groans, "I guess I'm stuck with it, etc." Look up your order, click on the links for reporting an issue.
