You can tone the blackness down and set it in place with a light beige eyeshadow. I have tried EVERY eyeliner on the market in the past 30 years and this is the FIRST one that is truly waterproof. It does not make my eyes water or sting and cause constant re-applying. I apply this once in the morning, set it and forget it and never have to touch my eyes again throughout the day. It will smudge, however, if you touch or rub your eyes. I remove my eye makeup with cold cream and a paper towel. I have finally found an eyeliner that performs and I will use it until death!

It’s really smooth and easy to apply. It gives a good dark and thick look. However, it smudges very easily. It somewhat lasts all day. If you count having to wipe under your eyes all day. Honestly will probably not purchase again. But you get what you pay for. It’s fairly cheap for eyeliner, and you can tell why. Don’t be misled about it being waterproof. If you’re wanting quality liner, don’t buy this item. If you want a cheap, quick application- this is your item.

I was feeling desperate when I recently noticed that I had completely run out of black eyeliners. This situation has never happened to me before, probably because I am so obsessed with eyeliner, I probably have every single shade, tone, & color that’s available in the marketplace. Also, whenever I would run into eyeliner sets, I basically always bought them. So since I am lucky enough to have just returned to Amazon after going through a rough patch in my life, so I searched for creamy black eyeliners & stumbled upon this set. Of course, after seeing the way they are made and so different from 99.999% of black eyeliners out there, I quickly hit the “Buy Now” button and I am so pleased with this purchase, these are so much fun to use & experiment with!! They also have staying power so strong, I couldn’t believe that it stayed on & I woke up with zero smudges! These pencils are so dang amazing, I would highly recommend them for the makeup artist living inside every one of us! Oh, and pay attention to the Silver liner…it glides on so super smooth & only take about 30 seconds to set itself. It’s even more gorgeous when you smudge (or smoke) out the sharp edges of your eyeliner, especially on the bottom eyelid space. It will either soften your look or make you look kinda like Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean lol. So overall, these are a beautiful choice for pencil liners. The ability to lay it down horizontally , it’s easy enough to completely create a smoky eye, using this liner as an eyeshadow. That’s what I like to do with these, create looks that are very simple to make, but look like it was applied by a professional artist. Thank you!!!

I have been in need of a wide/thick black eyeliner ever since Flower stopped making theirs. I love that this one glides on easy gives me the nice thick line I want. However, it is not water-proof nor sweat proof. It will smear easily. I will still be on the hunt for a thick eyeliner that is water proof.

This would be a 5 star product IF the lid would stay on it and IF it didn't waste so much having no way to sharpen except to rub it on paper to get a point on it. There isn't much product there to start with and i hate having to waste any just to get a good point. Beyond that, its great, nice and soft so no dragging and pulling at my eyes...at 50 i don't need anything to cause more wrinkles! Its easy to smudge for a smokey look or leave as is for sharp defined lines. Stays put throughout a normal day, then comes off easily with the baby shampoo i use to wash my face. Would definitely recommend this eyeliner crayon! I've also used as a lipstick, but it doesn't last long on lips.

Goes on easy BUT it transfers and smudges and didn't ever set. Color just melts and moves all over. Never know what your face is going to look like when you look in the mirror. It isn't worth it if you are wearing it for more than 10 mins. Wish I could return. Also they are not labeled by color. You receive 4 colors and they look the same from the outside. You have to open them to know which is which.
