Description

The Mishimoto performance aluminum radiator for the 2012-2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS is the ideal upgrade over the stock Camaro radiator. The last thing you want is to be limited by the factory unit during a hot day at the track or when you're stuck in traffic. Our engineers know that, and our design reflects this by increasing cooling efficiency by 22%. Curious how much 22% really is? Well, considering our radiator lets your cooling system gain a 0.25 gallon of extra capacity and lowers coolant temps by a proven 35 DegreeF, that 22% is pretty impressive. With polished end tanks and all-aluminum construction, the Mishimoto Camaro SS radiator looks as good as it performs. As with all our aluminum radiators, this Camaro SS radiator comes with our signature Lifetime Warranty.

  • Worth It!
First off get the Mishimoto Hoses as well since your removing the Radiator might as well swap out those old hoses kill 2 birds one stone. The Bolts for the Radiator are in the box 10mm don’t reuse the factory bolts. They won’t fit. Also I was worried about the Transmission cooler lines. Not fear I tackled it for ya! Don’t lose the 2 paper clip type retainers they tend to fly off! Remove the transmission fittings and check the rubber grommets. Torque them down like you would spark plugs not to tight it’s Aluminum! Oil pan plug tight. It’s thicker takes more to fill it but worth it 15 degrees cooler and cooler is better. Be sure to also check the transmission fluid after and this car Camaro SS does not have a dips stick for that. Order one off line JRE makes a good one. Good luck, take your time! Ziplock bag and tag the parts as you take them off. Take pics and peep YouTube for how too! ... show more

  • Worth The Money!
Very solid radiator that is not cheaply made like oem radiator. Larger in size and car stays 20-30 degrees cooler in this Arizona heat!

  • Poor fitment, poor design
Finish of this radiator appear to be good, but there are some issues with fit. First off, for my application (11 Camaro SS) the original fasteners were meant for plastic. As this is all aluminum, they are not only the wrong type, they do not fit. It would make sense to throw four bolts in a bag to go with a $400 radiator, but you're on your own for those. Be sure to pick up a set before you start working, they aren't included. Also, beware the drain plug. It does not come tightened, I am very glad I checked it before I installed. There is a significant gap between the fan shroud and radiator. If this were a bargain bin part, it would be forgivable. For how much this thing cost, this is some BS. If I had more time, I would seek a different brand. Finally, there are two bolts that hold the radiator to the condenser and two that hold the radiator to the fan shroud. None of them line up neatly. Every one required a fair amount of flexing before I could get them bolted down. Additionally, I had to drain the coolant and since there is only a bolt for a plug, you remove it and the coolant just goes EVERYWHERE. The OEM has a valve which drains the coolant straight down; you could attach a small tube to it if you wanted to. This thing just has a giant hole that faces the rear of the radiator and drops all over the front bumper support and drools all over the place. Even a nearly 20" catch pan was not able to get it all. Cleanup is significant. For the money, it should be BETTER than stock, not worse! I should not have to search for a fumoto valve or something similar to fix this dumb design. I loathe modern cheap parts and the stock radiator with plastic tanks is unacceptable; it is designed to fail. I don't need so-called "enthusiast" branded parts, I only got this brand because it was all aluminum and readily available. I figured the popularity of the brand might mean a quality part. I can't say anything toward long term ownership, but I hope it is durable. I am disappointed in the poor fitment for how much this cost. For the money, it should be better than the cut-rate oem radiator. ... show more

  • Good quality
I bought a super cheap one first on Ebay which was a disaster. However they look to be made very similar. The Mishimoto version still required a bit of fluff-n-buff to get my factory fan to mount in the aluminum tabs.
