  • A great bicycle mirror....some assembly required
Style: Mirror
We now have this mirror on three of our bikes. That should tell you something. This mirror does require assembly before you can mount it to the bike. It arrives totally in pieces (see second photo). The instructions warn that tightening the two larger screws can be difficult as the screws are hard to turn, and the instructions are correct. I found it easier to grab a pair of pliers and grip the end of the mirror while I was using the supplied allen key to turn the screws. Note I protected the plastic finish by using a cloth between the pliers and the mirror. If you don't use something like pliers, it will be very hard to keep hold of the mirror while you turn the screws. The instructions are also correct in that the screws will "squeal" while screwing them in. Ignore their squeals of pain and just keep screwing - it gets easier to screw as you get close to the end. Don't tighten too tight at this stage since you will need some movement to adjust the mirror once you have installed it on the bike. WIth that caveat, assembly is quick, but be sure to follow the instruction photos about where to place the 6 supplied washers. Also be careful to fully insert the allen key into the screw head because if you don't get it fully inserted, it may round out the screw head (this is also covered by the instructions. Installation onto the bike is easy. They provide two mountings blocks for different size handlebars - my bike used the smaller one. Once installed, adjust the mirror to your desired field of view and then tighten the two big screws a little just to ensure the mirror stays in place. In use, it does what a mirror is supposed to do - it provides great rearward visibility. Unlike other mirrors that are mounted inboard of the hand grips on the handlebars, these bar end mirrors provide an unobstructed rear view behind the bike. The view is so good, I feel you only need one mirror on the bike (on the left side). Overall, I feel this is very good value for money and the functionality of the mirror is great. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this mirror. ... show more

  • The is the best mirror I've found for bikes
Style: Mirror
This is the mirror I always buy for my bikes. Any time I have broken it by smacking a tree while riding in the woods or slamming the handlebar in the truck door, or just bought a new bike. This is the style mirror I prefer. It is unobtrusive, easy to install, sturdy, and offers a good adjustable steady view. I don't like to ride in city traffic at all without a left mirror! Highly recommend. Also a very good price. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Style: Mirror
These are great mirrors! This is my second one. They install fairly easily and securely inside the end of the handlebar. The mirror is easy to adjust and stays put once adjusted with variable adjustment tightness. The convex mirror provides ample view behind you. The only thing that some might not like is the mirror must have access to the hollow end of the handlebar tube. This generally involves cutting or drilling the handlebar grip. The grip on my new e-bike was easy to remove, after which I drilled a 3/4-inch hole through the end of the grip with a Forstner drill bit. I could have cut off the closed tip of the grip instead of drilling it, and this is what some might prefer to do. Good product! ... show more

  • The third time was the charm!!
Style: Mirror
After trying two other mirrors for my Lectric e-bikes, I came upon this gem. Unlike my previous mirror purchases, this mirror is sturdy, well designed and is adjustable. It stays in place when you adjust it before each ride and folds up when storing so it’s out of the way. East to assemble with good instructions provided. The mirror is high quality. • Mirrycle MTB mirror on a ROAD BIKE
Style: Mirror
I bought a Cannondale Cyclocross 6 to use for commuting and I was agonizing over searching for a mirror for it. Bar end mirrors seemed like they'd be too low and too far back and would be blocked by my arm. I didn't like the idea of attaching a mirror to my brake lever housing, and my aging eyes are having difficulty focusing on things up close so a helmet-mounted mirror probably wouldn't work well for me. I read the reviews over and over again searching for something that would work. Looking carefully at the MTB mirror, I thought it would work on drop handlebars, so I took a chance on it. It does work, and very nicely. I placed a photo of mine in the customer photos for anyone who'd like to see what it looks like on drop handlebars. It didn't take long to install, and I like the clever wedge design to hold it in place inside the handlebar. I still have to look down a bit to see the mirror, but it's better than looking down at a mirror sticking straight out the back of my handlebar, and my view is never blocked by my arm or my knee. The mirror is big, so I get a great view of the road behind me. After I adjust the mirror, it stays in place, even after going up and down curbs and riding over roots. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it interferes with my hand when reaching for the front of the drops, but I so rarely ride in that position that this really is a negligible point for me. That said, I think this is the best mirror option for my needs. ... show more
