  • Great camera, bad battery
Color: Red
I purchased this camera for an upcoming safari in South Africa this September. I charged the battery for the full 4 hours and was excited to test it out. I think I got 5 pictures before it died, and the lens was stuck in the outward position. I plugged it back in and it began charging again, and I was able to turn it off while powered by the USB. I charged it again overnight, and tried again the next morning. This time it wouldn't power up enough to even try to get a single photo. After reading others reviews, I got a 3-pack of Kastar LB060 batteries with the charger for $22 and couldn't be happier. It takes excellent pictures, the zoom seems almost endless, and I'm very impressed overall. I've only used the auto mode since I'm not camera savvy, but there are a lot of options for someone with a better understanding. I was planning to get at least one extra battery anyway, so that wasn't a deal breaker for me, but it's enough of an annoyance I can't give 5 stars. I would recommend the camera, just order batteries just in case. ... show more

  • A pretty good DSLR camera for beginners
Color: Red
I decided to buy this camera because I recently got more interested in taking photography a bit more seriously. Not to pursue it as a career or anything, but as a more serious hobby. Overall, the picture quality and features of this camera are pretty good for beginner/casual photographers. It is not going to get you the superior quality shots that much more expensive camera will get you, but the quality is pretty decent. The zoom is amazing. It allows you to get a close up on far away thing quite well. Of course, if you zoom in too much, the picture will look blurry, so you have to get the happy medium. The camera is very easy to hold, since it is light weight and fits in your hands nicely. A good upgrade from taking photo on your phone, if that is what you want to do. ... show more

  • Somewhat as decribed!
Color: Black
Really expected better - a lot better. Zoom is hard to do taking clear pics. Even "none" zoom is a work of art. Operation of buttons for choices are cumbersome and total picture quality is that of a $150 point and shoot camera . . . sad!

  • Good camera but battery is crap
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. This is a good Camera once you get beyond the bad battery they send with it. I sent the first camera back because it would not work right out of the box, it said 100% charged but would shut itself down immediately, contacted Amazon they had me do a return and overnighted me a new one, and set up a UPS pick up at my house for the old one, I do have Prime. Completely charged battery on new one worked and took good pics for a few hours then started shutting down, same as before, so I went to I bought 2 new Kaster batteries and a charger, have been using them for 3 days now, no issues. So I would say this is a great camera simple to use has some good features but buy new batteries with it. the ones that come with it are Fuji, These are the ones I bought. https://www.amazon.com/Kastar-Battery-Charger-Replacement-Digital/dp/B08HGLSJW4/ref=sr_1_1?crid=22DBN3SP3VO4Y&keywords=Kastar+2-Pack+Battery+and+LTD2+USB+Charger+Replacement+for+Kodak+LB-060+LB060+Battery%2C+Kodak+PixPro+AZ525%2C+PixPro+AZ526%2C+PixPro+AZ527%2C+PixPro+AZ528+Digital+Camera%2C+Minolta+MN53Z+16MP+FHD+Bridge+Camera&qid=1659881467&s=electronics&sprefix=kastar+2-pack+battery+and+ltd2+usb+charger+replacement+for+kodak+lb-060+lb060+battery%2C+kodak+pixpro+az525%2C+pixpro+az526%2C+pixpro+az527%2C+pixpro+az528+digital+camera%2C+minolta+mn53z+16mp+fhd+bridge+camera%2Celectronics%2C127&sr=1-1 ... show more

  • Can't see the screen in the sun
Color: Red
I loved everything about the camera! The only reason I didn't keep it was the screen, I couldn't see the screen in the sunlight. I'm so sad because everything about the camera was great! Once they devise a solution it will be a great little camera. Oh by the way returning it was a breeze, no problem. So 5 stars for this company. ... show more

  • Not worth it
Color: Red
Shutter is slow. No way to adjust. Takes closeups ok but when you zoom any length, camera takes 5-15 seconds to focus and sometimes loses focus. Either you get a blurry pic or your pet has moved and the moments lost. They replaced it. Both cameras were the same. Not what I expected of a Minolta
