The setback from the transom with the 2" setback bracket is 5 3/8" clearance when using the sandwich brackets. I thought I needed the 5" setback brackets (which I ordered and returned) but those actually give you 8 7/8" clearance from transom and stuck out too far. I just wish Minn-Kota would issue a drawing that clearly shows dimensions with sandwich bracket so it is clear which ones need ordered. ... show more
