An Audiophile's Portable.
Color: Green
I am a closet audiophile on a budget who wanted a competent portable bluetooth speaker to use while traveling. Something small enough to toss in a carry-on and focused on the best sound quality possible in a small package. We have a nice sound system at home where we listen to multi-layered tracks in jazz, pop, r&b and other genres, e.g. by Keb Mo, Paul Simon, Ben Sidran, etc. This little speaker blows me away. I appreciate the clarity of thought evident in the design - there are no bells and whistles here, just great sound. So not for the beach or by the pool, it's not dust or waterproof. Bluetooth 5.0 gets the job done - the speaker driver, amp and DAC matter way more. You have the option to hardwire in if you prefer. It's a simple aluminum cylinder with a 28wHr battery in the bottom, a 50w class D amp above that and a custom designed 3" speaker driver at the top. Their iOS app works great, offering a 5-band equalizer and all the controls you need. Buy 2 and you can run them in stereo. I've heard a lot of small portable Bluetooth speakers, and none have impressed until now. Paul Simon's "Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes"? Heck yeah! That sounds amazing. OK, don't expect bass "thump" from a 3" driver. That's not physically possible. But the baseline is there. Mid's are full, the treble crystal clear. Likewise with Ben Sidran's "Swing State". Sounds amazing. Highly recommended. ... show more

Amazing Little Powerhouse!
Color: Black
I am amazed by these little powerhouses! I have them connected (by audio cables) to an audio interface with an Ipad for my music and microphone that I use for classical music pre-concert lectures. I tried some other speakers which had a wonderful sound yet had dramatic lag (even with an AUX connection) which was very disconcerting. The Minirig 4 speakers have practically no lag and sound very clear and full with faithful reproduction of the actual symphonic sound. I have each of them connected to a Minirig Subwoofer. Great sound to say the least, AND they are built like a tank! Battery life is also very impressive. While not inexpensive, they are worth every penny, particularly because of their truly great sound and lack of lag. Highly recommended! ... show more

Nice sounds for a compact size speaker
Color: Silver
Nice sounds from these speakers when you find a good placement to enhance the base. I ended up placing them on a counter several inches away from the back wall. I paired it with an Amazon 'puck' to get music but it will often lose bluetooth sync after a couple days. So you have to re-pair often. The black +/- buttons too difficult to see as they blend in to the black frame. I ended up putting ugly white stickers to more easily see which button was which. I've not fully tested the battery life more than an hour or two. But like all rechargeable batteries, I expect the charge to wear out over a couple years at which point it will have be plugged in. ... show more

Best, Bluetooth speakers !
Color: Black
Best Bluetooth speaker I've ever heard. Almost as good as my studio monitors. I could happily mix on these very very balanced. Excellent stereo sound field. When you have two in stereo, you can't beat it with the all-in-one boxes that say they're stereo. This is stereo so good man ! And incredible battery life ... show more

Excellent product.
Color: Black
It's small and compact, and the dynamic range and overall sound quality of this heavy little bugger is excellent. As a former audiophile, I would rate it higher than any others I have heard in this size and price range. It is a little pricey, but solidly built. Pairs quickly.

This is it
Color: Silver
These cans are amazing. I picked up two and it brought a backyard party to life - just great, full, balanced sound quality and soundstage. Running in stereo beefs up the sound, sounding exponentially greater than a single. These sound like a stereo system rather than Bluetooth speakers. The best part is lag-free aux - I bought this mainly to jam on my OP-Z and EP-133 wherever I want. I did not realize I also got such a great overall stereo system as well. ... show more
