    • Best bedroom addition ever!
I'm in the midst of redecorating and just needed some simple lamps for my bedside tables. I stumbled across these and was stunned -- touch lights are still a thing? I remember playing with my grandma's in the 80s, and never thought of them again. But this function is a game-changer. No more sliding up in bed to reach the switch. All I do now is throw my hand out and *tap* to turn it on or off. There are 3 different illumination settings so there's some versatility to fit however much light I need. The best feature, by far, is that there is an outlet and 2 USB ports. I'm able to plug in 3 devices on this one lamp, which saves me not only outlets but also removes the need for usb adapters. As far as looks, it's simple and that's what I love about it. This is a lamp that won't take away attention from other design points in the room, and there are enough color options to fit any room. The footprint is smaller than a bowl or saucer, which lets me maximize space on a smaller table.     • Remember these have a dimming option
Bought these lamps cause I wanted a nice small end table lamp that offered usb charging. My intent was to use my Hue Bulbs with it. I wasn't aware these had a dimming option when purchased. That doesn't mean I'd return them they; they work as advertised. However, the dimming option messes with the hue bulbs and causes them to flash. Which gets really annoying quickly when someone accidentally touches them (I use voice commands to turn on these lights). The touch option is very sensitive (which I'm guessing it's supposed to be) but when trying to plug something in to the lamp can cause severe annoyance very quickly, due to that touch function and the hue bulb. I'd probably go with a different option just because USB and touch function not work well together. When turned on full blast, there is no flashing, so this is where you always leave hub bulbs with any lamp (hue bulbs always require power, unlike standard light blubs, you leave the lamp in the on setting). I'm leaving these at 4 stars as the description did not state these dimmed (further down the page it mentions it). Plus they should be redesigned so that you don't necessarily adjust the lamp (change the lamp setting) when attempting to plug a device into it. ... show more

I like these lamps. I purchased them to replace some that had broken during a move and I went with these as they are touch or switch and they have two USB charging ports and an outlet on it to charge or plug in various electronics at the bedside. Outlets near the beds are almost never where they should be for optimal access, at least for me, and it is like premium real estate for the outlet. They go with the room and the furniture that I have which is maple in rich tobacco stain. Great buy and would recommend them. The reason that I did not give the brightness a full 5 is that the light bulbs that came with them were the Edison type and even at the brightest, I still needed more light and got a different bulb. ... show more

    • Lights default to off if you use a switch.
The lights are great. They are much dimmer than expected, but it's a nice, relaxing light for the bedroom. I wouldn't compare it to a 60 watt bulb. Maybe 40. Light is also yellow in color. Not a bad thing by any means. HOWEVER (and again, this isn't a good or bad thing, but just made it so they're useless to me) if you plan on plugging them in and relying on a switch to turn them on/off, just know the light defaults to off. If the lights are on, and you hit the switch, hitting the switch again will *not* turn them on. Again, not a good thing or bad thing. But had I known that, I wouldn't have purchased these in the first place. ... show more

Update: I revised my review because the seller kindly refunded my my money, which I appreciated. From when they arrived, one worked almost normally and the other worked occasionally. Sometimes they would turn on when touched, and sometimes not. They would also sometimes flicker on and off without being touched. One of the lamps stopped working completely after a little over a year but the second one still works. I really liked the look of these lamps though and really enjoyed the charging capability, which worked as long as the lamps were working normally at that moment. I am impressed with these lamps, they are A LOT nice-looking than I thought they would be. Each base has 2 USB ports as well as an electric outlet. Nice black base, with a grey cloth-like shade. The only drawback is they will not work with an automatic smart home system like Alexa. The smart plug with turn the unit on and off, however in order for the lamp to be lit once you turn on you must touch the base. Other than that I really do like them. ... show more

These little lamps work perfectly for my small bedroom. Great reading light and gives off a perfect amount of light on the lowest setting. I have had them about a month now and everything is still great. Only issue is the light seems to beed to be on to charge our phones which is a small downside. We were hoping to be able to charge through the night and have a full charge when waking. Still, its a great product and worth the money. ... show more
