I am fairly new to diamond painting and had never done one with square drills. I liked the idea that each of these were small. It probably took me 3-4 hours to complete each one. They were nice to work on between larger paintings. The quality of the drills was good and the placement was tight with no gaps. I had plenty of drills, except for one of the specials (I finished with about 8 left over WHEW). I didn't realize these came on heavy cardboard rather than a soft canvas so I couldn't use them on my lightboard. These will be great to display in my office each month. There were one or two that I thought was pretty blah, but the rest were really cute designs. Good price for the quantity.

Ok I’m updating my review to say I just bought the cactus ones now, so this is my second set, first set I got was the 12 Months. They are amazing! The cactus set has 6 different ABs in it, and at least 16 different shades of green, so these are going to all be so unique. I can’t wait to start!! These are really pretty diamond paintings! Excellent quality square diamonds, tons of baggies and blank stickers, as well as a sheet of labeled stickers for each color, a stand to prop up a painting each month, and it comes in an adorable purple box, perfect for traveling on the go or for storage. I think they also sell a cactus set and I really want to get that next.

I love the size - can complete in a couple of hours! Plus the kit comes with plenty of extra baggies for the gems and the tool has a hand gripper you can put on it if desired. I think the square shape is fun for something different but is a little less forgiving than the circles. A fun challenge and good quality kit!

I really wanted to love this set, but after working on a couple of the images, I just couldn't give it five stars. I absolutely love the images; they are super cute, and I love that they are printed on stiff cardstock, similar to postcards. However, there are some fundamental flaws in this set. On its own, the set deserves three stars; however, I am giving it four stars because I've figured out how to ensure the longevity of the images. Let's start with the glue/adhesive: It's not sticky enough and is too smooth. To keep a drill in place, you have to press hard. However, the adhesive is extremely slick, so you can end up sliding all over the place. I've never actually seen an adhesive on a diamond painting quite like this before. I hope they approve the adhesive for future kits they might do. Second, the drills. There aren't many trash drills, which is appreciated. However, I don't believe these are resin drills. Anytime I have worked with resin drills before from other companies, no matter how hard I press, they never get marred or dented from the placing pen. The drills in this set are incredibly prone to getting nicks and dents from pressure, even when not pressed very hard. So, now to my solution. I'm just going to seal these mini paintings. The sealant should ensure that they last a long time, regardless of the quality of the adhesive, and also help to smooth out the nicks and dents from placement. The dents aren't particularly noticeable from a distance, but they are visible up close. Overall, I love the images and the special drills that are included, and the price is just right. 11/15/25 Update! I sealed the mini paintings, and it worked perfectly! They look great, and now I have no worries about losing any drills in the long term!

DO NOT BUY. I bought these because I liked the size and how many of them there are However, the adhesive on it sucks, especially around the edges on the picture. Either it wouldn’t come off my pen no matter how hard i pressed or, when it finally did come off, it wouldn’t stay on the picture (after 24hrs i picked it back up to continue and was missing 5 random gems all over from the adhesive not holding them, even after i sat and pushed down with my fingers once stuck) Additionally, the sparkly gems specifically do not pick up/stick easily to the pen. I pressed SO hard and could not pick them up. Now… i am stuck with 11 unused and 1 half done pictures that i don’t want to use and cant return since one picture is used as well as the glue, gems, materials and so on. Because of the quality, it makes the experience so frustrating. I only had this for a week but am giving up because it is too irritating. I have done other diamond arts and truly enjoyed them but this one was very annoying. As well, it mentions having square diamonds, in order to make the picture more seamless and easier to use - absolutely not. It makes it more difficult bc the diamonds have to perfectly be placed, otherwise if one doesn’t fit, the diamonds around it get flung off the picture. Save your money and find another brand because this isn’t worth the price.

I am missing diamonds and I have completed one card. Unable to finish the second one. Tried to message company and it will not accept my message. Disappointed to say the least. Wonderful concept, good quality cards and diamonds, just disappointing.

I got these for me. They are so cute and so easy to put together. The square dots fit together so well and they are so shiny. It is a great value with all the wonder paintings they depict. It is so much fun to do. These diamond paintings are so sticky and so much fun to do. I would highly recommend!!!!!
