I was in the military so am comparing these night vision goggles to what I've used in training. First off, these aren't goggles. They're binoculars. Instead of looking through the sight like goggles, you view everything from a screen. So anything you look at appears on a small screen. This makes it difficult to sight in on anything specific or small as the image on the screen can't zoom in or out very well. Otherwise, the goggles do work at night and it produces a clear black and white picture. Overall though, it's pretty clunky to use. It'll work if you don't need to be quick or need to be precise, so if bird watching it's fine. But if you need to be fast in the middle of a hunt or tactical, it's not great.

This night vision has so many other features; we are still enjoying learning how to use it all. We have 10 acres of half-wooded property where the deer have come to realize it's a safe haven and come up daily to feed or get a drink. Nighttime brings a host of other wildlife that, till now, we've only been able to catch a glimpse of the glow of the eyes in the woods. We were very surprised at how lightweight these are. We're used to old-school binoculars, I guess. The lens clarity is great. The zoom picks up better and farther than we expected. We're still figuring out the picture capture and recording features. The manual gives a pretty clear explanation for getting you started, at least for someone who has never used anything like this before. They do take a long time to reach full charge. A lanyard is included so you can wear it around your neck. We were surprised that a more robust case was not included to keep it protected. It does include a white cloth bag, but that doesn't offer much in the way of protection. However, we have found them to be pretty awesome so far.

My husband absolutely loves to go hunting with the guys and with the fall season coming up I absolutely had to give him some good night vision goggles! As soon as I saw these we had to try them out! They came very well packed and secured and everything was exactly as described in the ad. Nothing was missing or damaged from delivery and the instructions were easy to read so set up was a breeze. My husband is very familiar with using all different types of stuff like this so he got the hang of it in no time he was so surprised and so excited about these. He has already checked them out just by going outside in our backyard at night time and was very impressed by how crystal clear the picture is and how he can see everything so well. Everything definitely functions as intended and matches up with the ad even down to the measurements so it will be easy for him to carry around it is exactly as we hoped it would be and then some! Very impressed definitely think this is very high quality great craftsmanship and it does everything it is supposed to do. We have not run into a single issue and my husband loves this. He said it is just as nice as his name brand one and it is a fraction of the cost.

This is supposed to be "goggles"with night vision. What initially drew me in was the 60 Mp camera onboard. This thing is just a cheap plastic digital camera. It feels cheap, is clunky to use and is not really binocular goggles. I would love to have binoculars with the ability to capture images. I was really disappointed by this product. It does take digital still photos and digital movies but so does a digital camera. Image quality was a little soft, possibly from the stiff focus knob. Operation was not smooth. The focus knob is not very smooth and doesn't feel like a high quality focus. The instructions do say the focus knob will be stiff at first and will get better with use. The night vision is just an IR light that turns on in night vision mode. This should not be called night vision goggles. I really want this to be better than it acually was. If you want a digital camera with an IR night light go for it!

This is quite a versatile pair of night vision goggles. They work just as well and daylight as digital binoculars with range and digital zoom. Focusing in is very easy. And the view when using them in total darkness is unbelievable. I've used them outside which is impressive but it's not pitch black, i closed myself up in our big closet where it was pitch black and this thing lit everything up like I was looking at it at daytime. Very sharp resolution. It's hard to show how good it looks from the pictures but it's very clear sharp images. I don't care much for the video and picture function but it is a nice addition and I'm sure a lot of people will love having that option. My main purpose for these was to be able to see on the water at night when going out and the boat after dark. These will be perfectly for that. Surprisingly lightweight to have as much functionality packed in as they do. The battery life is pretty good also. I used them quite a bit testing out through the week and only used about half of the battery down so far. Definitely one of the better priced units I've seen on Amazon and I can't imagine features being much better than what this set offers.
