I recently picked up these brushes and I’m super happy with them! These brushes are really well-made. The bristles are synthetic but feel just as good as natural ones, and they don’t fray or fall out. The metal parts are solidly attached, so the bristles stay put. The set comes with 12 different brushes, which is perfect for all kinds of detail work. Whether I’m working on tiny details for Warhammer models or fine lines on a painting, there’s always the right brush. The handles are comfy and easy to control. These paint brushes are perfect! I make resin dice and sometimes need to paint miniatures for the inserts and these have been perfect.

I paint objects to decorate them, and do some small (8x10 inch) canvases with my own designs, just for fun. I'm currently attempting a portrait of my favorite dog and trying to get the hairs to look right was driving me crazy. I saw these fine detail brushes and the smallest one (000) solved my problem. I'm not blaming my other tools, they were doing what they were made for -- and these brushes are doing the fine detailed work they were made for. I'm a total beginner so it's a relief that it wasn't entirely my lack of skill causing the blotches. The brushes themselves seem well made to me. So far, I've used sizes 000, 00, and 8. The points were a bit stiff when I received them, as if they had a slight coating to keep the shape during shipment. I washed them in soap and water before using them and the points became more flexible but still firm enough to control well. The hairs form good points after washing and drying, and seem firmly attached to the handle by the crimped metal piece. I gently tugged on the points and no hairs came loose after using them and washing/shaping them to air dry. Each brush comes with a clear plastic tube to protect the point during storage. The crimped metal bits are smooth and don't have any burrs or a seam. The metal holds the hairs securely and meets smoothly with the metal handle. The handles are wood and are smooth and well made. They're cylindrical for most of the handle, with a grip section near the point end that I find very comfortable. The grip section is about 1 inch/3 cm long, starting about 2.5 inches/6 cm from the point, and has a triangular cross section. The measurements are approximate because the handle widens gently from a cylindar to the triangular grip section so there isn't an obvious start/end to it. The grip section is about 0.5 inch/1 cm wide with rounded edges. I'm very happy with these brushes, they're much better quality than I expected at this price. I was hoping for a "starter set" of cheap detail brushes that I'd replace with a better set if I continue to paint; I don't expect to have to replace these. Oh, and my dog portrait looks awful, but now it's due to my lack of skill rather than not having the right brushes. I'm looking forward to doing a better job on my next try!

I hand paint 3D printed objects/models and these have performed very well. They are ergonomic and make paining for longer periods of time, much more comfortable. The price for these is great. While you can tell the difference at times, from the more expensive options, I think these hold up really well on their own. I do a fair amount of fine detail work for smaller projects and these have held paint well. I take care of my brushes, and use brush soap and the bristles have gone back into place very well after doing so. This is important to me and shows they'll have a good amount of longevity. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for good detail on a budget.

These are very inexpensive brushes, and one gets a lot (12) of them. They are also ergonomic. Triangular bulge in the handle makes using and controlling them very easy. They come in a small cardboard box and inside each brush is packaged individually in its small plastic bag. Further bristles are protected by a small plastic tube. Tube is there only to protect them in the transport. Once removed, don't try to put it back on. It may fray and fold bristles to the back. While the brushes are good, they are not professional quality or even close to it. There is a lot of glue on them, and you must wash them thoroughly before use. There is even glue on the metal part of the handle and there was so much of it that I had to wash some of them twice. There were no lose bristles. Once the glue is removed, they are not as pointed as before, but you can still get reasonable precision from them. While washing on one of the brushes the metal part separated from the wooden handle (see the photo). I was able to push it back on and seems to be OK. These are soft brushes with a good snap. I think that they are the best for watercolors, maybe acrylics. I would recommend them for kids, beginners, and maybe intermediate artists can find some use for them. I don't think that pros would be even considering brushes like these. In conclusion, they are a good set of brushes for the intended market.
